Guys Charlie and Buck make me very happy
To EVERYONE who got me interested because of some damn 911 fanfics… I started watching the show three days ago and am already starting season three and I am NOT OK
AND WHY DO THEY KEEP COMING AFTER BUCK— LET MY MANS BE HAPPY 😭
Steve is teetering on the edge of sleep, sated and tired as his body practically melts into the sheets, but he stubbornly won't close his eyes.
Eddie’s in the shower and he didn't say goodnight to him yet.
He keeps making himself blink because he doesn't want to close his eyes for too long and accidentally fall asleep.
His breathing is slowing still, even as he tries to fight it.
He knows Eddie won't be much longer—he only has to make it a few more minutes now, only has to stay awake for another few short minutes.
The bed dips next to him gently and he blinks awake, eyes blearily taking in his husband as he climbs into bed next to him.
He doesn't remember falling asleep, but he must have.
He groans. “Sorry. Tried to stay awake,” he says, voice slurred with sleep.
He sees the small smile on Eddie's face as he says, “You didn't have to wait up for me.”
“I didn't say goodnight,” he protests, pulling Eddie close to him.
“Well, you can say it now.”
“Goodnight, sweetheart,” he says, tucking his face into Eddie's neck.
“Goodnight, love,” Eddie whispers back and Steve closes his eyes.

The Archive is experiencing some issues (as many of you have noticed).
It looks like the Archive is under a DDoS attack causing the servers to fall over. Our volunteer sysadmins are working on countermeasures. Please be patient with us, we'll be back!
A DDoS attack is when an attacker attempts to knock a site offline by overwhelming it with requests. Data is not compromised in a DDoS attack, so there is no need to change your password at this time or worry about your works being lost.
A group presenting themselves as a collective of religiously and politically motivated hackers has claimed responsibility for the DDoS attack. This group has attacked other sites before, including those of government organizations and large corporations. However, cybersecurity experts do not believe the group is honest about their motivation, so we urge caution in believing any reasoning this group provides for targeting AO3.
As part of our efforts to help keep the site up, you might find that you get "Retry later" errors more often when searching or filtering works or bookmarks. Don't worry, just go a little slower, or try again in a few minutes! These are temporary measures. Normal use of the site is fine -- you don't have to avoid using AO3 if it's currently up for you.
Our volunteers are continuing to work hard on this issue! We appreciate your patience and support in the meantime.
Date: 22:43 UTC July 10, 2023
We've changed our approach slightly, so you might now see error messages other than "Retry later," such as 429 (too many requests), 400 (bad request), or 503 (service unavailable).
Please do continue to access the site if it's up for you, and feel free to download some works for offline reading in case of further downtime!
We'd also like to take a moment to reiterate that cybersecurity experts believe the group claiming responsibility for the ongoing DDoS attack is lying about their affiliation and reasons for attacking websites. We strongly encourage you to be skeptical of any statements from this group.

BRUHHHHHHHHH RIGHT WHEN I GOT AN UPDATE EMAIL TOOOOOOOOOO 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭
WHY ARE ALL OF THE AO3 STORIES IM FOLLOWING POSTING NEW CHAPTERS FULL OF TEAR WORTHY MATERIAL— I HAVE BEEN CRYING ALL DAY AT EVER NEW CHAPTER and I love love love it 😈
1. Make sure they are fed with plenty of materials to mock or otherwise they will turn on you.
2. Some can take it, and some can't so don't try bitching back at them.
3. Don't put your fingers near their mouths. They might bite.
4. They do need actual food to fuel their bitchyness meter, or otherwise, they're just angry.
5. Let them take care of you sometimes because that's how they show love.
6. Let them talk your ear off about their interests because it's fucking cute, okay?
7. Make sure Mike Wheeler is on his best behavior when he's around all three of them. Do I need to explain that one?,
8. Oh, and if someone makes fun of El or Dustin in front them. There's nothing you can do. The bombs already gone off. The only thing you can do is make popcorn.
9. Chase after them when they find a stray animal, they will get lost. (That rule is mostly for Eddie and Max.)
10. If they scoff and tell you that they don't need a hug. They need it, so give them a hug.
Kinda feel called out
JOSEPH QUINN accepting the MTV Award for Breakthrough Performance
↳ #using his platform to vocally support writers? king shit #also a good message to the fandom tbh
I love him
never gonna watch the teen wolf movie but what i have gathered is this:
jeff davis created another stiles in the character of eli, derek's son, as like, some sort of jab at the sterek fandom and instead of being offended, sterek fandom collectively took that as evidence that 1. mpreg is canon and 2. stiles gave birth to derek's kid
astounding writing as always, jd, absolutely wonderful self burn
This is so true lmaoooo
The Teen Wolf movie’s lack of context to the Derek & Sheriff Stilinski relationship is a travesty because you know this man helped Derek Hale raise his son.
You can feel the history in their shared frustration over Eli’s fixation with the jeep. You see how easily either of them show up when the other calls for back up. Sheriff didn't hesitate to be the bad cop and threaten Derek’s son so Eli would cut Derek some slack. Stiles’ father was there to help Derek figure out how to be a good parent, I have no doubt he showed up a few times to the house on his days off to babysit. And I know Derek has called the Sheriff at the station over the smallest emergencies. In the process Derek found himself growing fond of Stilinski, even seeing him as a father figure. Surely he enjoyed how much it drove Stiles up the wall when his dad called to talk not about the FBI, but how amazing Derek was doing with Eli. I can almost hear the frustration in Stiles voice as he realizes Derek Hale is trying to replace him, maybe to spite him. Definitely to spite him.
Derek and Argent had an understanding. Derek and Stiles put aside their differences to save each other over and over. But when Derek needed someone, the one man left to protect Beacon Hills stepped in to help the big scary werewolf without hesitation. Sheriff Stilinski never forgot about the young Hale boy who lost everything, even when that boy jeopardized his son’s life. He knew Derek needed a parent to show him the ropes. He also knew how hard it was to raise Stiles as a widowed father, and one look at Eli told him Derek couldn't do this alone, not like he had. Claudia would want her husband to help Derek, to put aside their differences, and be there for each other. And he was there to defend Derek after he was gone, to ensure Eli knew just what kind of father he had. The film’s ending aside, I know Eli wound up in the Sheriff’s care, staying in Stiles’ old bedroom because there was no way that man wasn’t seeing what he started through for Derek’s sake.
This Sterek-adjacent dynamic is everything, and it hurts that we will never get the Hale spin-off these two deserve because, wow the emotional subcontext that carries through those 15 unspoken years is too much.

FLYNN RIDER - STEVE HARRINGTON
@navnae 👀
Yes please
Wouldn’t it be hilarious if Steve was just naturally amazing at DND?
Like he can see the strategy clear as day and can’t understand why the other players are taking so long to decide on their next move. He’s never caught by surprise by the story. He built his nearly flawless absolute weapon of a character in less than twenty minutes.
Eddie fucking hates it but oh boy does it turn him on.
(“How did you know talking to the bartender was a trap?
“Eddie I’m literally inside you right now please stop asking me about the game,”)
I’m fucking losing it right now. This this this this this.
You can’t tell me that Eli Hale isn’t an exact replica of Stiles Stilinksi…

Diyoza And Bellarke
Ok so CANONICALLY Diyoza thinks Bellamy and Clarke are dating, right?
So… Diyoza knows about Madi, and knows that she’s pretty much Clarke’s child and based on the fact she’s a Bellarke Stan for life her assumptions and that Lola looks exactly like Bellarkes child, she would probably think that Madi was their kid.
So when she sees Bellamy and Echo together this season she’ll probably go “Ok Bellamy and Clarke were a couple, maybe married, had a kid together, broke up/got divorced and now Bellamy and Echo are together despite Bellamy and Clarke pining for each other and Madi just wants her parents back together” and if that isn’t the most fan fiction thing you’ve ever heard than I don’t know why to tell you.
So basically why I’m saying is, Diyoza’s assumption on Clarke and Bellamy’s relationship once Echo is apart of the picture is like every parent, modern au writen about them ever and this brings me peace.
