Asking a depressed person why they are depressed when life is so beautiful is like asking an asthma patient why they have asthma when there is so much air

MTF trans tips
I see lot of ftm trans tips and not a lot of mtf trans
Walking: Try to walk with your hips more than your shoulders. Take smaller strides. (If your in school try carrying a book or your binder by your side or to your chest. It tends to be a more feminine action.)
Speaking: Try to talk softer and more often. Women tend to talk with their whole mouth rather than just the bottom of their mouth (if that makes any sense). Voice Pitch Analyzer is a really great app to find out how your voice is perceived as far as gender goes.
Sitting: Don’t slouch. Cross your legs. If you don’t feel comfortable crossing your legs, try to not have such a huge space between your knees. Sitting up straight and/or leaning into a conversation normally come off as feminine.
Clothes: If you can try shopping in the womens section because womens clothing is cut to show off a figure while most mens clothing is cut to be comfortable. If you can’t shop in the womens section, then try to buy jeans that are designed to be more form fitting. Shirts are normally very unisex, but womens shirts tend to be more colorful and/or saturated. (Sorry, I don’t know how the sizing changes!)
Shoes: Depending on your shoe size, you probably can’t shop for womens shoes so try and pick up on what kinds of shoes women around you wear and find something similar. Most women (that i know!) don’t wear high heels or flats. Normally, a simple pair of sneakers will do.
Hair: If you can’t get your hair cut in a feminine way or grow it out long, don’t put gel in it! Even if its cut short in the average f-boy hair cut. Most hair cuts will come off more feminine if you don’t put gel in them.
If you go to school:
Name: If you’re unsure if your teacher would use your preferred name, I’ve found that just asking them to use a unisex name similar to your preferred one. If it’s unisex, they probably won’t ask questions or refuse to use it, especially if you can come up with an excuse.
Locker Rooms/Physical Education: If you don’t enjoy changing in the locker room and you’re out, try talking to the gym coach in charge of your locker room. Normally something can be worked out. If you don’t enjoy changing and your not out, wearing your p.e. clothes under your school clothes helps (depending on how early/late in the day you have p.e.). However, after p.e. is over, you will need to change out of your p.e. clothes. If you’re fast at changing, try doing it real quick when the bell rings because people will be focused on getting out of the locker room. If you’re doing this then getting out of your shirt is a priority because it smells the most because of the type of fabric. Or if you don’t want to wear your p.e. clothes under your school clothes than try wearing school clothes that are easy to get on that way you can change quickly.
Toiletries: If you have a sister or mom, normally you can swipe some or their deodorant and/or body spray without them noticing. For deodorant, if you have a cupboard where you keep bathroom essentials, they’ll probably have extra deodorants in there. If keeping one of them in your room would be too noticeable, try keeping it in your locker at school or your backpack. For body spray, if taking on of their bottles of body spray would be too noticeable, try buying an empty spray bottles (like travel spray bottles. Not cleaning spray bottles) and putting some of their body spray in the empty bottle. If all of these would be too noticeable or you don’t feel comfortable doing any of these, depending on where you live, there should be a local store. Whether its a target or dollar store or foods store, try seeing if you could go there one day (if its nearby your school run in there before or after school real quick) and pick up these things yourself.
Hope these can help y'all! If there’s anything I missed or you guys wanna add please do!
