"Love that Kills" Story by: Hunter
Chapter one
"If looks could kill...I'd be dead"
Daniel wakes up to the sound of loud punching coming from the downstairs training room. He rolls over to check the clock, “6:37 am” the clock reads.
Daniel jumps out of bed knowing he should have been up half an hour ago, he quickly gets dressed and heads downstairs to his work station only to see Levi- The Mafia boss- standing by his desk with a grim look in his eyes.
“Daniel,” Levi starts. “Decided to sleep in this morning, I see?” Levi asks sarcastically with a dark tone.
Daniel swallows the lump in his throat, knowing he is about to get chewed out for sleeping through his alarm.
“N-no sir, I-” but Daniel gets cut off by Levi’s dark voice.
“Just because you are dating my daughter does not give you permission to sleep in and miss work. Do you understand me?” Levi says, his tone was dark and threatening.
Daniel had worked with the BlackFire Mafia for almost 5 years and recently had started dating the boss’s eldest daughter, and Levi didnt like that very much.
“Yes sir, I understand,” Daniel quickly responds as he rushes to his seat.
Levi glares at him as he lets out a low grunt as he walks away.
Daniel lets out a sigh of relief as Levi walks away, and quickly gets to work.
A few hours after Daniel started his work, Miles, the youngest son of Levi, walks in, his water bottle in hand as he walks over to Daniel.
“Hey!” Miles calls to him, his voice was calmer than Levi’s- and much less threatening.
“Oh, hey kid,” Daniel says to him in response.
Miles, noticing something off with Daniel’s tone, tilts his head slightly.
“What's wrong with you this morning?” Miles asks
“Hmm? Oh, nothing your father is just mad at me-” Daniel starts but before he can finish Miles cuts him off.
“Did you sleep through your alarm?… Again?” Miles asks, a slight smirk on his face.
“You already know my father hasn't liked you since you started dating my sister- sleeping through your alarm is not helping there bud,” Miles says, teasingly with a smirk on his face.
Daniel rolls his eyes at Miles’s very obvious observation.
“Yeah, yeah I know- thanks for the observation,” Daniel says sarcastically.
As Miles is about to say some sarcastic remark, Destiny walks in, immediately smiling at Daniel.
“Hey,” Destiny says in a soft but dangerous tone as she smiles at Daniel.
Miles rolls his eyes at his sister's greeting to her boyfriend as he walks away back to his training.
Daniel’s expression changes from a look of annoyance to a smile as he sees his girlfriend.
“Hey,” He says back to her, a smile on his face.
Destiny smiles at her boyfriend as she comes up to him, giving him a big hug and letting out a small satisfied hum.
“How was training?” Daniel asks her, as he wraps his arms around her.
Destiny lets out a sigh.
“Training was fine- how’s your work going?” Destiny redirects her answer back to him with a question.
Daniel lets out a low hum as he answers her question.
“Work is boring- as usual,” he tells her.
“Any new targets?” She asks him.
“There are 2 more targets that your father approved of- but they're dangerous-” Daniel tells her, his voice laced with concern, knowing that his girlfriend loved taking out the more dangerous targets.
Destiny looks at him with a smirk.
“Dangerous huh? I can take ‘em,” she says to him in her usual challenging tone.
Daniel sighs, knowing she was going to say that.
“I know you can take them, but-” Before he could finish, Eva, the middle daughter, came running into the room.
“Why do you look like you're running for your life?” Daniel asks Eva with a raised eyebrow.
Eva rolls her eyes at his question, as she turns to Destiny.
“Father has a mission for us,” she tells Destiny.
Destiny looks over at Eva with a sly smirk on her face at the mention of a new mission.
"Who's the target?" Destiny asks her, as Miles re-enters the room.
"Watta we talkin' bout?" Miles asks, curiosity evident in his voice.
Both Eva and Destiny roll their eyes at their brother's question.
“Father has a new mission for us,” Eva finally answers.
Miles' eyes light up at her answer.
“Who’s the target this time?!” Miles asks, excitedly.
“Some dude named uhhhhh…” Eva checks the mission file.
“Oh right uh, some dude named Armound White,” Eva says.
“Armond White? Bro, what kind of name is that,” Miles says with a light laugh.
Destiny rolls her eyes at her brother’s stupidity, though can't help but agree that it's a very- odd name.
“Doesn't matter what kind of name it is, what matters is that he’s the guy Father wants us to take out,” Eva says.
Destiny nods in agreement.
“When's the deadline for the takeout?” Destiny asks Eva, the one with the mission file.
“Uhh ... .it says March 3rd at 12:00 midnight,” Eva answers.
“Wait, March 3rd? Today is March 3rd-” Miles says as he looks down at the watch on his wrist.
“And it's already 10:am- shit we gotta go!” Miles says to his sisters as they rush to grab their weapons and head out, leaving Daniel alone again.
Eva Teleports them to their target's hideout.
“Be quiet,” Destiny tells Eva and Miles as they walk behind her.
Miles rolls his eyes at his sister's obvious order.
“Yeah, no shit Sherlock,” Miles says to her in a whisper as he rolls his eyes.
Destiny stops, turns to Miles and smacks him.
“Do. .not. talk to me like that,” Destiny told him.
Eva tries to hold back her laugh at the sight of her sister smacking her brother.
“Ow!,” Miles says as he rubs the back of his head where Destiny smacked him.
“Dude, shut up,” Destiny says to Miles in an annoyed tone as they keep walking.
“Well, it's your fault for smacking me,” Miles mutters to himself.
Destiny rolls her eyes at her brother's muttered comment.
“Is that Armond?” Eva whispers as they approach the entrance, with three men inside.
Destiny goes a little closer as she identifies the target.
“Yeah, that's him,” Destiny tells Eva and Miles.
“Alright, let's kick some ass, motherfuckers,” Miles says, a smirk on his face, his tone dripping with excitement.
Destiny uses her mind control to distract the guards as Eva and Miles Tie up Armond.
“Well, this was easier than I thought,” Miles says, mildly disappointed by the lack of action and fighting.
Eva rolls her eyes.
“You can fight with him later, right now we need information,” Eva reminds Miles.
Miles sighs, feigning disappointment.
“Alright, I'm only going to ask this once old man. Where is the file?” Destiny says, her tone dark and threatenin.
Armond looked at the three people in front of him, noticing their youthful appearances.
“How the hell did a group of children get into my hideout?!” Armond says shocked.
Miles slaps Armond across the face at the offensive comment.
“We are the ones asking the questions,” Miles says.
“Now, answer her question, old man. Where is the file?” Eva chimes in.
Armond sighs, knowing that the “kids” would clearly do anything they needed to get what they wanted.
“I dont have the file you are looking for,” Armond tells them.
“Bullshit,” Destiny says.
“We know you have it- or you at the very least know who does have it,” Eva says.
“And I suggest you tell us if you want to walk outta here alive,” Miles says, his tone dark and cold. A noticeable difference from how it usually is.
Armond swallows the lump in his throat, sweat dripping from his forehead. One thing was clear- he was nervous.
Destiny smirks, noticing this.
“Come on, tell us where the file is and we will let you walk out of here- with all your limbs,” Destiny warns him.
Miles smirks at his sister's threat.
“Yeah man, you really dont wanna test her- she will take a limb- or two,” Miles says tauntingly.
Armond was visibly scared now, and he decided he wanted to keep his life- and all four of his limbs.
“Okay, okay, I’ll tell you where the file is- just- promise you aren't going to kill me,” Armond says, trying to strike up a deal.
Destiny smirks at the man's sudden will to keep his life.
“That's what I like to hear.” Destiny says.
Armond sighs.
“My buddy- Felix- he has the file- he kept it for safekeeping,” Armond tells them.
“Then lets go fucking get this….Felix guy,” Destiny says to Miles and Eva as they start to walk away.
“Wait,” Miles says as he turns back to Armond and pulls out a gun.
“Any last words?” Miles asks him.
“I- I- I- Please- I- Never-” Armond sputters.
Miles rolls his eyes.
“Jesus! Never mind!” Miles says in annoyance as he shoots him in the head at least 5 time.
Eva looks at Miles.
“Um- I think you shot him enough-” Eva tells him.
“Really? I don't know sis, I think his head could use a few more bullets-” Miles responds.
“Yeah- I think He’s dead Miles,” Eva tells him.
“No. Really, yah think?” Miles says sarcastically.
Eva rolls her eyes.
“Anyways, we should go back to the mansion before going after this, Feilx guy,” Miles suggests as he puts his gun away.
“You're right, we need to prepare,” Destiny says, as Eva nods in agreement.
Destiny, Eva, and Miles got to work the next day to go after Felix and retrieve the file their father wanted.
Destiny was busy tracking down this “Felix” Armound said had the file, Eva was putting together the mission plan and Miles was training.
“Ugh, that bastard could've at least told us where his so-called friend is,” Destiny says in a frustrated tone.
Eva chuckles at Destiny’s frustration.
Destiny glares at her for laughing.
“What? You like watching me get pissed over a mission?,” Destiny asks sarcastically.
“No- okay, maybe it is a little funny-,” Eva responds in an amused tone.
Destiny rolls her eyes and lets out a scoff.
Suddenly, the tracker starts beeping on the laptop, indicating that Felix had been found.
“Wait- did you really find him?” Eva asks in a surprised tone.
Destiny rolls her eyes at Eva’s surprise.
“Duh, did you really doubt that I would?” Destiny says back.
“Uh- maybe, I mean there were, like, zero leads or clues as to where he could be-” Eva tells her.
Miles walks into the room, almost as if on cue.
“What is in this file anyways? Like, did father even tell us?” Miles asks, his tone curious.
“Don't know, dont care- lets just find Felix and get the damn file,” Destiny says.
Eva and Miles nod.
“But like, Miles is right- why are we going through all this trouble to get a file, when we don't even know what's in the file?” Eva says.
“Uh, because father told us too, duh,” Destiny says as she rolls her eyes.
Miles rolls his eyes.
“You're always so eager to do what father says,” Miles says.
“And you always seem keen on doing the opposite of what father says,” Destiny retorts back at her brother.
“Maybe- we could just like- ya know- sneak a small peek of what's in the file-” Eva suggests.
“We kinda can't “Sneak a small peek” at a file we don't even have, dumbass,” Miles says as he rolls his eyes.
Eva glares at Miles.
“Father always keeps an online version of all his file’s- dumbass,” Eva reminds Miles, still glaring at him.
Miles blinks, mentally cursing at himself for forgetting.
“Oh- right,” Miles mutters.
Destiny looks up the file link on the computer.
“This is not worth it- if father finds out we hacked the system to look at his file’s I swear to god i'm gonna-,” Destiny says.
“Yeah, yeah,- you’ll “kill us for getting you in trouble” we know,” Miles and Eva say in usion.
Destiny sighs as she pulls up the online version of the assigned file.
“Holy shit-” Miles mutters as the screen file pops up. Destiny clicks on the file link that reads: “Delilah Blackfire”
“What the hell- that's mothers file-” Miles says.
“Why does father need us to retrieve mothers file? She’s dead-” Destiny says, bluntly.
Eva clicks “Open” on the file.
“What the-” Eva mutters in her breath as they read the contents of the article.
“Why is the article of mom’s death on here still? Father said he deleted her file when she died-” Miles says.
The article read:
“November 17th 2017, Delilah Blackfire, wife of the Mafia leader, Levi Blackfire, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head. Police and investigaters are ruling this tragic event as homicide.”
“Wait- but father said mom shot herself? Why are people saying it was murder?” Miles says, confusion evident in his tone.
Destiny had a contemplative look on her face.
“I don't know, maybe we should ask father about it-” Eva says before Destiny smacks her.
“No idiot. If he lied to us then, what on earth makes you think he would tell us the truth now?” Destiny says.
“Oh- right, good point- you didn't have to hit me ya know,” Eva says.
Destiny smacks her again, just to prove a point.
Eva sighs.
Daniel comes into the room.
“What's going on?” He asks.
“We’re making a plan to confront our father about lying to us about how our mother really died,” Destiny responds.
“Oh. okay- well, The plan can’t include, Fire, Explosions, or killing people,” Daniel says looking directly at Miles when he says “Fire or Explosions”.
“Jesus, do you want it to have Rainbows and unicorns or something? Damn dude.” Miles says.
Daniel rolls his eyes as he looks at Miles
“No, you just have a tendency to be reckless,” Daniel says to him.
“I just have a tendency to forget useless shit,” Miles says.
“Do you also have a tendency to forget the law?” Daniel asks, sarcastically.
“.....Yeah….like I said, useless shit,” Miles says.
Daniel rolls his eyes in annoyance.
Daniel pauses for a moment as he hears classical music playing.
“Why- Why is their classical music playing in the background?” Daniel asks.
“Would you prefer Kidz Bop?” Destiny retorts, sarcastically.
“Ha, Ha,” Daniel responds, unamused.

"Hell" Poem by Hunter_Maximoff
Is it wrong to call hell my home? for it's the only home I've ever known.
I used to fight my demons, but now I don't. now, we are on the same side.
I stopped looking for the monsters under my bed, and in my head, when I realized this monster was me.
For I am the monster and the monster is me.
I follow the echos of my Demons as they lead me down the halls of the place everyone calls Hell, But I call
HOME.
