My name is Tay, I'll be your narrator.

I've been hanging around KKBB fandom since 2009. I was ~tayberhecate on LiveJournal and fanfiction.net back in the day. Nowadays I'm @illusionremember here and on Ao3.

Multishipper (Perry/Harry/Harmony mainline, but also Perry/Harry, Harry/Harmony. I'll give anything a shot!)

I like exploring pre-canon backstory and post-canon shenanigans. Usually canon compliant, but love a good AU or canon divergence.

I write fanfiction, meta, and media & literary analysis. I'm still working on crossposting my older fic to Ao3, and working on multiple newer projects I hope to share soon!

Sometimes I do panfandom RP, exclusively on InsaneJournal (playing Harry, among other characters from a variety of fandoms)

Sometimes I mod for assorted collaborative fanprojects, including panfandom RPGs, zines, and fandom events.

HIII! I wanted to say I watched Kiss kiss bang bang because of your movie poll and I ABSOLUTELY loved it. I was wondering why I hadn’t heard of it sooner while i was watching it, it was sooo good.

genuinely one of THE funniest movies of all time, i've been craving a rewatch so bad despite having seen it like a few weeks ago. and four times total since last december. lol.

SHRIKEHART PROPOSAL EXCERPT!

little spoiler for chapter 3 of my fic…

The two sat in the parked car for a bit—just…sitting there, for whatever reason. Perry was still pissed, but not as much as he was before. Harry wanted to make it up to him, but he didn’t know how.

Then, he suddenly remembered the paperclip in his pocket. No, not now! It’s way too soon! He’s gonna say no, he’s gonna say no, he’s gonna say no—

“Marry me, Perry.”

He pulled the paperclip out of his pocket, smiling. Apparently it was supposed to symbolize a ring.

Perry blinked. “What?”

“You heard me, Per’. I want you to marry me. Please?”

Perry’s face turned a bright red. Jesus Christ, was this fucker serious? He had to ask. “You’re serious?”

“Dead serious, baby.”

“And you’re proposing with a paperclip.”

“Couldn’t get a ring in time.”

Perry laughed. “God, come the fuck here.”

Perry leaned in, pressing his lips against the other man's. He ran his fingers through his hair, stroking his head. Harry was enjoying every second of this moment, he was about to start sobbing. Perry slipped his tongue into the other detective's mouth, swallowing his gasp.

When they pulled away, they pressed their foreheads together, smiling. Harry’s eyes were starting to water.

Perry’s face was softer than ever. “You okay, chief?”

“Yeah—just…” He began to cry—happy tears—and hugged Perry. “God, Perry, I didn’t think you’d say yes…” He managed to say between tears.

“Of course I’d say yes, baby. Now give me the paperclip. I need to wear it.” Perry smiled.

“What—oh, yeah.”

Harry bent the paperclip—before carefully slipping it onto Perry’s ring finger. Well, he tried to at least; it wouldn’t fit. The two men laughed at how ridiculous the situation was—trying to put a paperclip on someone's ring finger as a replacement for a ring.

“Let’s just go buy a ring.” Harry decided, kissing Perry’s cheek.

They drove to the jewelry store—picking out the best possible ring for Perry which was not a paperclip, mind you. It was a diamond engagement ring.
