not the same anon but I just wanted to point out that i feel like EVERY fandom pulls through with streaming but nctzens seems to be the ONLY one "struggling" to do so... and being a 4 y/o group/fandom... that's just embarrassing. newly debuted groups are doing 20m in the first day and 6m every day after but nctzens struggle to do 1m daily lol the "I'm busy" excuse is just overused by now too, those busy ones should just call themselves casual fans then...

honestly, this sounds like a personal problem rather than a fandom one? which probably comes from (a) raising expectations too high (this is a great ted talk on expectations vs happiness) and (b) constantly comparing nct’s results to other groups. is it really that deep to the point that nctzens are lazy? it may be a hard pill to swallow, but maybe nct’s core streaming fandom isn’t just that big LOL - nct has a lot of casual fans and sm’s strategy since debut has been to focus on physical sales 100% (and now tours), so streaming has never been a priority ;;

each idol group has their own successes in different areas and there are only a handful of groups who can hit 56+ million streams in the first week, rookies or not… you act like that’s normal when in fact it’s an amazing achievement? what you’re saying also has a strange implication towards groups who are 4+ years old and haven’t achieved as much as nct has (and there are a few, considering that nct has been blessed to debut with sm) - streams are not a true measurement of success and it’s not ‘embarrassing’ to have less views…
