Easily my new fav poster/group shot. Bob poking his head up is so cute. But most importantly... Bucky with guns!!! One of which might even be The Gun??

For those who may be wondering, since I'm sure I'm not the only one who immediately zeroed in on them, the gun in Bucky's left hand is the same stockless Skorpion the WS carried on his back, which was also featured on the first Thunderbolts poster. The gun in his right hand (with the incredibly Rumlow-esque glove) is a lot harder to reliably identify from the low quality and that angle. However, I'll say that it is vaguely SIG-shaped, and at the very least, I don't think The Gun can be ruled out. So take that as you will.

I cannot stop thinking about every single one of those silly little heroes; I'm obsessed with the fact that they saved the world by being themselves.

I remember everyone saying that they didn't see how the Thunderbolts* could beat the Sentry or the Void because they had no powers.

But, they didn't need powers. They didn't need to use their fists, or their super-strength, or combat training. All Yelena, Bucky, Walker, Ava, Alexei (and Bob) needed was their humanity. Their greatest power as a team is their flaws, and their life experiences. Their ability to empathise because of their mutual grief, loss and pain allowed them to save the world.

Their humanity is their power.

Every single member of the team has their own flaws, and they are all carrying around so much trauma and heartbreak, but they found each other. And they're going to help each other like the family that they are. And that's so beautiful. And, in finding and helping each other, they're going to save the world. They're all so human. They're so real. Their true strength was their ability to let themselves feel emotion.

And that's so powerful, that's such an important and beautiful message. This film was beautiful.
