I am absolutely OBSESSED with Sevada Grigoryan’s paintings. They’re just so colorful and gorgeous—trying to capture the old flavors of Armenian culture. Of course, the paintings are a bit whimsical in nature but don’t act like you don’t love them too.

Pontic Hamshen Music - The language of the song is Armenian Hamshen Armenians are a group of Armenians who inhabit the Black Sea coastal areas of Turkey, Russia, and Georgia. Most adhere to either Sunni Islam or Armenian Apostolic Christianity. Of course they have been forced to follow Islam because they were all Christians as an Armenians are.

Hi! I'm one of the mods on Our Armenia and I've read your poem (Dear Radical White Hipsters) probably 1000 times and I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the poem. I'm a senior in high school and I'm taking an African American humanities course and I had to choose a poem that spoke to me most to introduce myself with and I fully intend on sharing your poem and it's words with my peers. Hi Armine! It's so great to hear from you. This message really made my week. It's really neat that your high school offers a course African American studies. Hopefully the cursing and explicit language won't be offensive towards your teacher or peers, but censorship is also fucked up. This really encourages me to write more poetry. As an Armenian it's easy to feel that your voice doesn't matter and won't really reach anybody, and thank you for dismantling that idea.
