UPDATES!! 🌟

HI HI EVERYONEEE!

As we've talked about before, Lock and I have been hard at work preparing our Hunger Games Scarian AU for you all, and we're excited to announce that, in just around a month, we'll begin posting the first chapters!

To lead up to it, starting June 1, we'll begin teasing the Tributes from each District. These will be characters from the community that so many of you generously shared with us :")

While we only had room to select 22 Tributes from the 40 different applications sent to us, if you don't see your character in the line-up, don't fret! Lock and I did our best to use the remaining characters in a variety of different roles over the course of the fic itself.

And for those of you who submitted OCs for the Capitol, stay tuned! HGAU is shaping up to be quite a long fic, and there will be plenty of space to use every single submission if we have anything to say about it ;)

We'll be tagging the creators as we reveal Tributes/characters, so we hope you'll continue to stick with us and enjoy what we have in store!

> be me, monday afternoon > hanging out downtown with @definitelynotshouting who is visiting for a couple days > decide we're going to go to a local japanese supermarket for poke bowl ingredients and to check out the attached bookstore > as we're leaving bookstore, glance over at the checkout counter. blond guy with a scruffy beard and black shirt on is being helped. only see the back of his head > that guy looks like martyn. no way, though, there are many scruffy blond guys in seattle. i'm overthinking this > head into grocery. picking items out of cold case that faces the food court area between the shops, glance over and see a few people waiting at one of the tables > that's joel smallishbeans. that's jimmy and oli and yep that IS martyn walking back to them from the bookstore > we approach. tj is leading because i have become Too Anxious about sticking my entire foot in my mouth > wave, talk for like a minute (very short, we didn't want to keep them since they were headed somewhere). joel asks if we want a photo > martyn offers to take it for us

and another MCYT Battleship work of miss Ariana Griande - this one was largely to hit the Art Nouveau and Drag Performers tags, and I think i could execute on the Art Nouveau tag a lot better with more time, but for all the constraints i'm still pretty pleased with how this one turned out <3

For the last few weeks, I've been participating in MCYT Battleship 2026, an incredibly hectic and incredibly fun event in the same vein as a fandom big bang.

One of the gifts I received was a fic in a Prohibition/1920s Chicago Scarian AU series that - while it was anon at the time, per Battleship rules - I knew had to be from @kaesaaurelia, so naturally a little gifting back was in order.

Please mind the tags & ratings, but do check the fic out! I will post more art and writing I've done in the coming day or two, but I wanted to get this one out first because I'm happy with how it turned out <3
