Pyo Hyemi, a shining star amongst her wizarding peers, consistent grades, top student when it came to Defense of the Dark Arts, and an overall overachiever. But all people had their weakspots, their flaws, a place where they couldn’t excell, even if they tried, and for Hyemi? That was potions. Eugh, a shiver ran down her spine at the thought of them. All those ingredients, ranging from gross to grosser, like Newts Eye. Who was wanna touch a Newts Eye? Not her.

Even then, she was still required to take the course, struggling through with a consistent B- as she tried her best not to gag at all times.

It was the last potions class ever. No more cauldrons, no more weird ingredients, it was all almost over. And that was probably why she got cocky, and got sent straight to the nearest doctor in her small wizarding community. How she messed up so badly was beyond her, but low and behold, it resulted in a thin layer of smoke covering Hyemi’s eyes, rendering her temporarily blind. And after that, it all just went down hill, accident after accident from her falling down a staircase to crashing into wall after wall, limited to feeling around with her hands just to find her way to the bathroom.
