— 3:00 PM. AFTER SCHOOL, BEFORE KARAOKE NIGHT
“yeah?” suna turns to look at y/n “u down for karaoke night with atsumu, osamu, kita, and aran?” y/n asks as they walk out of class
“oh sure I didn’t know they were coming?” suna inclined “yeah but its a long story” she said as she lets out a sigh
“I kinda wish it was just us though” he pouts, crossing his arms.
“well we’ll hang out alone some other time I promise” she says, smiling at suna. His gaze softened. He was sure his heart stopped for a second right then and there
“better keep ur promise” he replied, looking away
— 5:30 PM. AT THE KARAOKE BAR
y/n & suna, intoxicated, along with the others sang their heart out all night long without a care in the world.
Maybe it was the fact that they both had feelings for each other or maybe it was the alcohol that led them to blatantly kiss each other as the others were distracted
y/n pulls away in shock, immediately sobering up. “did that just happen” she said, as she covered her mouth. “oh shit um I didn’t mean to i’m sorry i was just caught in the moment” suna exclaimed, frantically stumbling on his words
“no no its okay, we’re just a bit drunk that’s all” y/n assured him, flustered “its— its not like i didn’t like it though don’t get me wrong” she mumbled quietly
“what’s that? sorry I didn’t hear you” suna implied as he leaned closer to her “its nothing don’t worry” she indicated, waving it off, oblivious to the fact that atsumu witnessed everything happen.
He contemplated whether or not he should call them out but figured it would be best not to, considering the fact that he might be a bit jealous.
