What I really love about mob psycho is how it encourages artists to be so experimental. I’ve found so many influential artists in this fandom that have made get out of my comfort zone and try out new things. My art style has changed so drastically over these past few months than it has in years. Y’all are so freaking creative and daring, thank you. I’m not going anywhere, but it’s only natural that the peeps will drift off until the next season. Until then, fight on my dears.

Of course I'm not claiming all characters are aro-ace (Mob is an obvious proof of that and there's way more) but there's really something in his stories that reminds me of that
Seri and his emotions as animated by Bones... (aka, Poppy watched episode 9 - SPOILERS!)
WARNING: Spoilers ahoy for episode 9 of the current MP100 season!
So, I got to watch episode nine tonight of Mob Psycho and I am just. It was literally everything I ever wanted. WD arc is my favorite and I have read it over and over and over. And imo, every single detail was perfect right from MY MANS Joseph’s entrance and his absurdly dramatic back and forth with Touichirou in the hallway (omfg) to the Super Five’s appearance. (We will refrain from repeating what the subtitle has translated as “Ultimate Five” because that’s also known as “blasphemy.”) Anyway, all of it was so beautifully animated. BUT can we just talk about SERIZAWA and how much his facial expressions are MAKIN’ ME FEEL SOME TYPE OF WAY.
It brings back the exquisitely expressive way that ONE draws Seri’s face in pretty much all arcs in which he appears, but one of my favorite things in this episode was that Bones kept to that standard very nicely. What it brings up though is just how extreme Seri’s state of mind is when we meet him.
And Bones nailed it holy shit. These expressions.
