according to the doctor's appointment i had this morning i am 5'7" and not 5'6", i have been living my life as a 5'6" person and i have to adjust to my new reality of being 5'7"

Highlight of my work week: I opened this water line manhole and saw this mouse inside, got on my walky talky and said "bro there's a mouse in this manhole," my coworker came over and we did a rescue mission, put the crowbar inside and the mouse climbed right up and out-- and then directly under the concrete manhole cover. We spent a few minutes trying to get the mouse to run away with poking sticks under there, to no avail. I said well if I lift the manhole cover up on one side and hold it while you make sure it runs away then hopefully I won't crush the mouse. This is what we did and it was a successful operation.

this week i'll be working outside in 90 degree weather for three days and i'm apprehensive BUT we're working right on the shore of lake mille lacs in minnesota so we will be in fact swimming every couple hours which is a safety precaution.

i've spent countless hours of my life doing dumb training modules for care taker jobs (people with disabled siblings know what i'm talking about) and the quizzes always piss me off here's an example from one i just did
