Have you ever fought against one of Venomshank’s zombies (outside of the fights , I mean ) ?

well, they're usually ordered to not hurt me, so it's not a common thing. but i have!

most of the times it happens it's by accident, though.. they're more sneaky than you might think. so, y'know, you get caught off guard and it's kind of hard to not get spooked.

these couple of panels are super intriguing to me bcs an entire group is trying to take over whats essentially the birthplace of ALL the inphernals in the region. most likely to gain more members and further expand their reach across lt. his qna also mentions that of a civil war happening in lost temple, presumably the territory dispute between true eye & redcliff for the spawn…..

speaking of katana another thing that ive just noticed is that redcliff seems to be allied with the darkage clan, judging from the td symbol on the masks + katana having a similar one over his face. they seem to be owl themed also?? which is funny given he does have an owl iirc. whatever the case it does make sense give thieves den and lost temple are apparently “the most chill with each other”. certain parts of lt anyway given the cult would definitely not be fond of this little alliance they seem to have with redcliff… maybe we’ll see katana in ditf at some point? who knows. it’s pretty clear he’s joined the effort against true eye’s attempt at spawn control.

also i think its worth mentioning true eye was indeed founded after the scorch (least, i believe thats the canon name for the event). whoever overseer is, and whatever motive he’s got, took advantage of the anger and fear of the nation to turn them to his cause. which does parallel real life cults as they often become prevalent during instability.

i do appreciate here that they dont portray true eye and its members to be entirely bad though. i think in fiction its VERY easy to paint a cult as “the root of all evil”. of course, this is not to discredit the fact cults DO in fact cause actual damage to the community (i want to give examples but… im not too sure if it’d be insensitive to compare an irl cult with a fictional roblox one,,), but ultimately it’s members are also victims of the cult’s leader and the beliefs they instill, though it doesnt excuse their actions in the slightest.

beehive in particular seems to have a VERY negative reaction in regards to true eye, almost as if she was personally hurt by the cult. though it’s not specified how exactly, it’s more than enough to cause her to lash out at sword for even mentioning the idea of medkit joining them being a “misunderstanding”. might even be the reason why she joined the wranglers in the first place, assuming it happened before she was a part of them that is.

uhhh anyways thats it for this… analysis? i guess? not exactly explained the best but i hope this makes sense haha. i love this comic man.
