The Sea of Stars is a wide place, full of endless potential. Ships crisscross the expanse of the galaxy, and in the midst of it all is the Empire, the rebels who chew at her boundaries, and the people stuck in the middle.

When Luffy and his crew stumble across a box full of mysterious writing, they can't imagine the can of worms they're about to open by taking it with them. Unbeknownst to them, the powers that be will stop at nothing to keep the information contained on those tablets out of the hands of the people, and defying them is a certain death sentence. The only question is, will they be able to follow where the information leads before the government succeeds?

Meanwhile, the cogs of the universe turn on. A man seeks revenge against an imperial governor. A young woman steps into her role as queen too early. An old civilization suffers under discriminatory laws imposed upon them. Other powers test the limits of the empire's hold on the galaxy with political maneuvering and raw power. And through it all one question remains: what secrets are the empire going to such lengths to hide, and what would the consequences be if they were revealed?

I just finished A Crown of Flowers and am CRUSHED at not having more to read. This fic has swallowed me mentally for the past few weeks as I read through it. I ADORE the setting and world building SO MUCH. Are there any plans for more fics in this universe? It feels nicely finished off but I wouldn't complain about getting to see more of the world and characters!

Second, while I currently do not have any more fics in this universe planned, that by no means means I never will. I have so much background information I came up with for this story that never made it into the fic proper, so there are definitely still stories left to tell.

I am working on another heavy worldbuilding story at the moment, which should hopefully start releasing relatively soon, so if worldbuilding is your jam, I hope that will help scratch the itch a bit.

Hello!!! I just finished reading "We Hide Our Hearts in Plain Sight" and I LOVED IT! Especially striking was the chess game. Not much happened that chapter but it felt like it gave a great view into the characters! Also in the tunnel where Cora slipped I SCREAMED. Our boy's clumsiness strikes again at the worst time. Doctor Ada's POV at the end was a wonderful icing to the cake! I was wondering if you planned any future fics with Law, Cora, or the other boys! I was also curious if you ever planned to write something with Doflamingo playing a bigger role. He's my favourite villain and I know you'd write him fantastically!

I'm so glad the chess game came off well. Several people got to listen to me agonize about getting the chess game the way I wanted to. It's so important to the entire story, it's a huge character moment for both Law and Sengoku, and it's a critical perception change moment.

I do not currently have any other fics planned in this universe. That's part of the reason I tend to leave the endings of these kinds of fics open, because it lets the readers imagine what comes next. That's not to say I'll never write these characters again; I love these characters. They will definitely show up in more things I write.

Doflamingo...is hard for me to write. Not in the same way a character like Luffy is--because Luffy is also very hard--but because of the way he thinks. He makes the inside of my brain feel slimy, so it will depend on how important he is to a given story.
