I can't let go of dw completely

I'm not wired that way

However, I implore everyone who can to boycott the game until she addresses and apologise

And even then..... she has a history of being untrustworthy in this regard.

I don't want the dw fandom to die, I fell in love with these characters and over elaborated them in my manyview au.

But I think we need to seriously start thinking of letting go of the video game itself for now.

I'll still be posting about my characters and know I consider them ALL mine now because I've lost respect for the devs.

I do believe people can change and do better for thier communities but this is inexcusable and untrustworthy.

I'll be seeing what we can do in terms of copyright with content.

But know I will still be posting on here when I can and probably making more video based content on YouTube as well.

This is not over, and I'm so sad it went this way but we probably should have known.

Final amendment cus I started off thinking really self centred about this initially, but I just want to say that I'm so sorry for the victims of this situation and that pulling together the evidence to make this come to light would have been an exhausting and horrible endeavour and u can see it from the tweets. I really appreciate that they were able to inform us of such and we should spread the word so that that work isn't in vain

I've been thinking about what Arthur's initial concepts for dw would look like.

The network is about to eviscerate them for marketability purposes but there are some elements in thier concepts that will come back later when they get toon forms in the modern day

I am sad because I have stopped playing dw due to what's happened with qwel

And I want to play it again but I won't unless they get rid of her.

I have been playing Toons Universe and it feels closer to what I wish dw was like in terms of gameplay. So I might interact with that fandom but I can't hyperfixate on it. But u might see some content on my blog with me trying to play different roblox games.

I'm going to stop playing Dandy's World for a while until QWELVER says something...It's incredibly frustrating because I dedicated hours to the game... trying to unlock all the characters.

What they're accusing Qwel of is disgusting to me (knowing that she was my inspiration) I think I'll start playing other games and stuff.

I'm really going to stop doing Robux commissions since the only reason I was doing it was for the Dandy's World skin passes. Maybe I'll do other kinds of commissions (maybe I'll start playing Adopt Me again and accepting pets).

I really don't know if I should continue being a Ginger yumeshipper because of the controversy...

I get this.... I've stopped playing until she says something and even still, if the allegations are true I can't envision myself playing it anymore really either. And I've bought the game passes, and unlocked all the characters so there shouldn't be any sunk cost fallacy for anyone

However I do wanna add that as hard as it is to be a fan you shouldn't let a scummy creator ruin how you view the content. For lack of better words.

I'm still going to make fanart and continue with my au. And I wouldn't want anyone to feel as though they can't enjoy whatever they enjoyed about the fandom in the first place.
