Amazing how night and day Yoyo's voice lines in JSR are between English and Japanese

#I can't really say which one I like more bc the voice direction for both of them are going for different angles #the JP direction feels like a reserved schoolmate you studied with twice but is attempting to refriend you in spite of their nervousness #the EN directions feels like the class clown who forced themselves into your social group but has done you a solid months ago so it's OK

based on that one infographic that got leaked a while back… im kinda worried that the Noise Tanks will be the only rival gang shown in the new game…

wait a minute…..

no…it can’t be…..

#on one hand I get wanting to not bloat the game with too many characters and want to keep the story streamlined and coherent #at the same time it'll be a bummer if the other gang members don't even get a cameo in the game #I know everyone hates DLC but a sidestory that givee more focus to gangs like Poison Jam or The Love Shockers would be a perfect use of it #more like a proper post-game expansion #but I'm getting way ahead of myself

I'd be more devastated about the possibility of the new JSR absolutey botching the execution/ being Not Good if there wasn't already games out there that basically function like an update to the JSR formula.

(And also that unofficial decomp project for JSRF that will at least get that game out of Xbox purgatory.)
