Despite the flu kicking me down for the beginning of Art Fight 2025 (the first week and pretty much the second, aswell) Somehow, I managed to match my AF 2023's amount of attacks, and hit my goals!??!?!?!!??
I will say tho, this year was MEGA hard for me, mostly bc my perfectionism got wayyy too much in the way, and my mental health was incredibly bad after the Flu whopped my ass at the start of the event, so I nearly gave up at the... 8th attack iirc?!?! But I'm so happy I pushed on, and as much as I hated the sketch attacks at first... I'm so happy I continued with them nonetheless, bc man do I love my sketch style and had an utter BLAST doing those drawings! >:3
Overall, my goals were indeed met! They were:
- Achieve one mass attack!!
I had an utter BLAST with that attack!!! I wanted to give back to the Zelda community, both for being one of the fandoms I've been in the longest, but also bc I've been in Zelda mass attacks in the past, so I absolutely wanted to give it a go for once! :D
I had so much fun drawing a ton of skull kid ocs >:D I think the species is so fuckin' cool and had so much fun drawing them??? It was also the piece I spent the longest on! The BG was made in Medibang, with the characters and finishing touches done in CSP!
I worked on it while I was crook as a dog, but oh man did I have fun with the attack!
- Complete a 4-way chain!
Shout out to my pal Getchoo! The one whomst popped up a few times in the credits! Unintentionally, you absolutely helped me hit my goal of a level 4 chain which... I WASN'T EXPECTING TO DO IN THE SLIGHTEST?!?!! But GOSH I had a blast completing one :')) KEKE and drawin' your characters >:3!! I'll see what next year holds and perhaps, I may draw multiple characters again! WAHOO!
- Finish 20 more attacks!
This goal was made when I hit a roadblock with Art Fight >:0 I wanted to achieve 30 attacks to atleast finish a page, and, the 20-attack goal was met! YIPPEE
- Reach 30 attacks!
Shockingly, I hit 31, which was the aforementioned Vampires 2023 amount! I, again, wanted 30 attacks to fill out a page, but with Getchoo's unexpected attack which let me hit a 4-way chain, I hit 31!

From least to most attacks...
- 2022's Bloom: 28 Attacks
- 2023's Vampires & 2025's Crystals: 31 Attacks
- 2021's Steampunk: 33 attacks
- 2024's Seafoam: 40 attacks
While I was going to aim for a higher score this year, I'm honestly just blown away I even made it to 30!! Let alone match 2023!
So, for as many hardships as I had this year, I'm overall satisfied with my goals met and my attacks done >:D
I want next year to be better, though. I want to focus on improving my art on CSP and getting to a point where I'm satisfied with my work again....
I love doing doodles, but perfectionism is an asshole, and I want to match quality, yet also do artworks that appease my brain.
So, I'm hoping 2026 will be much kinder than this year... not expecting it, but I want it to be.
We'll see if I'll be moving out of this home next year or be stable enough to do Art Fight 2026.... Let's Hope!
