There are days when I want everything to cease, followed by those where I yearn to live.

So for context: i live in a fixxer upper trailer on one of my grandmother’s properties. My trailer was being used as storage.

Today i found this beauty on a back shelf in a storage closet mixed in with a bunch of my grandmother’s old stuff. It is in perfect working condition & it is also my favorite color.

I figured what a wild coincidence then i realized that recently i actually mentioned wanting to get into pokemon. I missed the hype as a kid. I liked console gaming & other animes. I didn’t really play the games either. So i figured that as an adult getting into it, i’d start by going in orderish with the games.

Well what do you fuckin know? That’s fuckin pokemon silver blue. Wild.

I’ve been honestly struggling mentally a lot lately. My grandmother that i mentioned before, i’ve been very close to her all of my life & she is the glue of my family. This trailer that i’m living in, albeit it’s just barely liveable, she gave to me when i was going homeless a second time last year. The car i have is a beater, but she gave it to me when my nice car was repossessed.

It’s safe to say that drugs destroyed my life for a while. But she was there & supported me through it. Well, with all that being said.. unfortunately she is on her way out. She’s been getting worse very gradually the last few years, but within the last few months, her health has all but completely collapsed.

We don’t know how much longer she has. Which is why we’ve been sorting out her storage.

I don’t know what it is about this gameboy, but i feel so great having found it in her stuff too. Idk i feel like this was a big hug from the universe.
