i know everybody is pretty devastated about oikawa saying he doesn't want to move back to Japan, and fair enough, but as a girl who has done the big move TWICE in her life (although not quite as extreme) I am so happy to finally see the narrative that yeah, sometimes where you were born isnt home. Maybe your friends are there, maybe your family is there, but its just not home anymore. And yeah, maybe it never was. It looks like me and Oikawa are in the same, slightly terrifying, boat.

I reached out to a mental health hotline for the first time after 10 years of battling depression and ocd and god, just that 40 minute conversation has made me feel lighter.

Please, if you are struggling (even if it feels insignificant) use resources such as hotlines and web chats. The man i spoke to was so empathetic, and responded to what i told him with nothing but kindness and patience. My OCD makes me feel so isolated, but he listened to everything I said and asked me questions about my experiences and reminded me of my progress since my breakdown 2 years ago.

Thank you to that kind man, who i will never speak to again, because you just saved another life.
