You wake up saying it’s gonna be alright, you can pick yourself up today
You look in the mirror and sh*t here we go again
The thoughts in your head are like a diss track made by you for you knowing that no one knows your flaws better than you
People around you tell you that it’s not that bad and try to pick you up
But in your head you say they are lying then you tell yourself they are not and feel even worse
You feel ugly, unwanted and find it hard to go toward people. It’s cold. The world is so cold.
You want to feel pretty too but you hate your face, your body, your everything. You wanna stop breathing sometimes.
You try to fix it but things do not go your way so you end up more depressed. And your world turns upside down.
But dear…I just want to tell you I understand. ANd give you a warm hug.
To say “You are beautiful just the way you are” doesn’t fix things because you hate the way you are so how is that beautiful. But I will tell you the magic road that will make you love yourself. And light up a lil fire inside this darkness.
Accept your flaws and stop caring what others think of you. I know…Easy said than done. But please accept my hand.
Next time you face the mirror and this atrocious voice scream “UGLY, FAT, STUPID”. Open your mouth and say “SO WHAT?”
Yes dear, so what we weren’t born royalty.
So what if we were born normal. So what if we were born awkward. It’s just who we are. And it’s ok to be that way
We were born and that alone is a miracle.
Don’t give up to the voices. Maybe this post is a sign that you needed to take a new path. Even if it’s just baby steps.
Also, I love you just the way you are even though I don’t know you. I love you because you are human like me, breath like me, suffer and cry like me, but also I love when you smile like me. Smile dear, You are wonderful.
