Here is a snippet of the map of Pandora i am working on for my fanfics (Gonna refer to it as Ithaca Map). Not sure how granular to be. The only pseudo-official map I could find is just the texture from the 2009 game, but even then nothing is listed. I am up to suggestions for names for continents/seas though! (in any Terran language or Na'vi)

Field Notes from the Western Frontier #2
December 1 2170 CE. For Immediate Release. From "RDA Today" - by 'Ithaca'
The AVATAR, Ambassador, and RECOM Programs were resounding failures, each singularly resulting in heavy losses to multiple industrial sectors. Information leaked by Resistance-sympathetic insiders on Earth suggests that the Top-Brass of the RDA will be abandoning the idea of Productive Extraterrestrials all together and begin exploring alternative means of creating a Pandora labor force. Most likely the RDA will increase automation, however the idea of placing consumers into indentured servitude was brought up. One of my contacts (A confirmed insider - codenamed: Goemon - semi-reliable) has reason to believe that the RDA is experimenting with genetically modified Prolemuris. It seems that they are banking on their limited mental capacity and shorter lifespans to create more obedient workers [1].
There is a rumor circulating that there are leagues of Na’vi who worship humans as gods. Resistance can confirm, without a shadow of a doubt, that these rumors are unfounded. This belief is propagated by the influencer, Eric H.H. Bern, who authored The Servant’s of Hope, an autobiography and pseudohistory of Na’vi. Bern claims to have a Doctorates in Xenoanthropology from the University of Malta (He does not have a doctorate, nor has he ever been to Malta) and participated in the AVATAR Program in 2144 (Like Malta, Bern has never been to Pandora). In short summary, he asserts to have contacted the Pxorro, a fictional cave-dwelling Na’vi clan who lived in blissful ignorance of the Sky. He taught them astronomy, as well as the wonders of modern technology and the stock market. Through Bern’s deft diplomacy he Pxorro and convinced them to fight alongside the RDA in the Battle of the Halleluiah Mountains, where he faced of one-on-one with the terrorist Jake Sully. His human body and Avatar were both gravely injured but lovingly nursed back to health by his Pxorro followers. He evacuated along with the others at Hell’s Gate but claims his Avatar and his ‘heart’ remain on Pandora. God awful writing aside, The Servant’s of Hope narrative is merely a poor amalgamation of multiple people’s experiences, including my own! Bern has been debunked countless, but his fantasies continue to persist, even in Pandoran Activist circles. The Mangkwan are likely to be mistaken or used as proof for his conspiracies. Bern is undoubtedly an RDA Propogandist, and the Pxorro are a thinly veiled attempt to soften the Na’vi image to the public in a hope to assuage fears of tourism to Bridgehead [2].
[1] Prolemuris already “monkey see, monkey do” with the Na’vi, so it is only natural for them to similarly mimic human behavior. While I get humor, the Na’vi in the Resistance find it disproportionally funny to imagine Prolemuris act like Sky People. So’lek cannot stop laughing to explain the subtleties to me.
[2] Although I am personally glad Mercer is dead, RDA's tolerance and advocacy for Human-Na'vi relations - no matter how misguided and flawed - died with him. The resurgence of Pxorrosian imagery seems to be an attempt to fill the void Mercer's coalition left. We are left scratching our heads how this could possible connect to Goemon's Prolemuris leak...
Field Notes from the Western Frontier #1
Aug 12 2170 CE. For Immediate Release, Collection of notes "On the Sarentu" - by 'Ithaca'
To the RDA, the Sarentu were always an anomaly. They were not nomadic in the traditional sense, and moved based on collective-preference rather than following predictable hunter-gather patterns. This fact made them near-impossible to make contact with or even observe, leading to most of human understanding of them coming from second-hand accounts and hearsay. After some time, interest in making contact with the Sarentu dwindled. The Sarentu’s lack of ‘labor’ and their reliance on other tribes for sustenance lead them to be considered as “vagrants” or “beggars” in Pandoran society. For nearly 30 years they were written off and classified as NPETs (Non-Productive Extraterrestrials), making them one of the few Na’vi clans not authorized to work in RDA facilities. Their forceful enrollment into TAP reclassified the Sarentu as PET-3s (Productive Extraterrestrial Class-3[1]), although it did little to expand the Anthropology Department’s understanding of their culture.
Despite the Sarentu’s roles as diplomats and storytellers, they are also stereotyped as … promiscuous. When the Sarentu move into a region, there is always a noticeable increase in birth rates for both tribes. Sexual relations between Sarentu and others can range from one-night stands to repeat non-cohabitating partnerships. The closest parallel to be drawn is that of the Walking Marriages of the Mosou, and is the term used by RDA Anthropologists. In Sarentu culture it is unimportant who the father of a child is, as children are viewed as wards of their mother and the tribe as a whole [2]. Although Taboo, Walking Marriages are agreeable with most Na’vi tribes, as children are always considered to be born into their mother’s tribe. This ‘exchange’ strengthens bonds between clans, it is said among the Na’vi that ‘Sarentu fathers plant trees and Sarentu mothers carry seeds’.
[1] Class-3 refers to amicable or non-antagonistic Na’vi who can be coerced into performing physical labor. The Omatikaya were considered PET-3 until the destruction of Grace Augustine's school.
[2] Entu is considered to be the father of all Sarentu. It is unknown whether they believe it literally or in a ritual sense. Regardless, the word for father, ‘sempul’, is reserved for Entu, while ‘tutan’ is used for all males in the tribe. ‘Tutan’ is understood by humans to be equivalent to ‘uncle’, although some will jokingly translate it as ‘dude’.
Naranawm and the Emanations of Eywa
The Sarentu gather around to hear the astronomical musings of the reclusive Tawinanyu. A Tawinanyu, or "Star Knower", in Na'Vi society is akin to the role of an ascetic monk. They forgo all bonds and isolate themselves in the forest and will live where they embody a specific animal of astrological significance. After a calendar year they return to the clan and announce whatever divination they may have. They will reintegrate themselves for a time before leaving again to repeat the cycle.

My Sarentu, Tsetsul, with Telisi! Along with drawing more I have been playing a lot of Avatar Frontiers of Pandora. The series has meant a lot to me, from first seeing it in theatres with my grandpa to going to the World of Pandora in the Animal Kingdom. While I love the movies, the game has resonated with me deeply, and in a way seems like the quintessential Pandora experience. I can't wait to play the DLCS!
