I think I'll love you in this lifetime and the next.
⚠️ If in 2025 you got constant burnout, especially whenever after you went online, make 2026 a year where you:
•Start blocking people or content that burn your energy out. Block account and content that simply not align with your taste. This is internet. If your real life is already a constant battle and survival, make this place your garden to unwind.
•Don't react openly to anything you see online immediately. Especially if a stranger want to start a drama. Not everything and everyone worth your reaction or your energy. Before you react, always pause and ask yourself, "Is this worth my time?", "Do i really want to waste my time over a stranger behind the screen who don't know a thing about me?". You don't need their validation or prove anything to a stranger online. Keep your emotional worth in check. Give your energy only to the People and Moots you cherished.
•Post and reblog anything you love, anything you like, and anything that resonates with you. Anything that makes you Happy. Anything that says You. Your blog is about you and your space. Not others'.
•And most importantly, Be Unapologetically You. You. You. And You. Because there's only One You in this world. If you're a kind soul, show it. If you're a bold soul, show it. If you're a soft soul, show it. Don't adapt someone else's personality. Authenticity attracts real people with real personality. Not a sucker. Not a faker.
•Less Yes, more No. Know your boundaries. Choose carefully who gets your "Yes" and who gets your "No". This apply not only in your relationship with your friends or family, but also to whatever ask you're getting on your blog. If someone ask something that makes you absolutely not comfortable, say one and complete "No". You don't have to explain Why. A No is a No. If they can't take a simple No? Told them to choke on that.
Islamic architecture,
Kabul,
"Well, you should blame my parent for it." / "You should blame x for it."
No. Listen.
You are your own action, your own behaviour. Yes, you can't stop about how you feel and what you think. But you can choose on how you treat others. You're hurting. You're upset with a, with b, with x, etc. I get it.
But does it give you the right to treat people badly? To throw tantrum so freely? To others? And after you're hurting them, lashing out at them, and they make it clear what you did or said hurt them, instead of aplogizing, you oh-so-easily said "Well, person a made me this way.", "Person b made me this way, i can't help it."
You can't help it, but you're aware you're hurting others? And you shift the blame? You can't even say a single "sorry"? Not even "my bad"? You look for 101 reasons to justify your behaviour?
That's running away from being held accountable. That's what narcissistic behaviour look like.
the urge to disappear with you
your heart won’t crave what Allāh didn’t write for you that pull you feel, that longing you can’t explain… it’s not random. it’s a whisper from the One who crafted your destiny, guiding you towards what was always yours.
The real luxury in life is being remembered in someone’s dua.
Normalise saying “Allahumma Barik” whenever you see anyone successful and happy. They prayed and worked for it. Your time will come too.
I’m so pathetically intense. I just can't be any other way.
