You see a smile, I hear the cries.

Will happiness ever find me?

I don't recognize my face in the mirror.

Something is about to break.

Everything in me is telling me to quit.

I keep hoping things will change for the better.

Pull me back from the ledge.

My mind is troubled.

My heart is weak.

Are they destiny or simply just dreams?

Something inside keeps pulling me forward.

If you looked through my eyes, would it make a difference?

Am I on the cusp of something great?

Perhaps one day it will be my turn.

My brain cannot form the words my heart speaks.

Just lie to me and pretend I was an option.

I wish I knew how to let you go.
