Do you miss anyone from the past?
…Okay, who keeps sending me these questions?
Yes, of course there are people I miss - deceased relatives and friends from places at least one of us has left, mainly. I’m sure everyone else misses some people, too.

Do you miss anyone from the past?
…Okay, who keeps sending me these questions?
Yes, of course there are people I miss - deceased relatives and friends from places at least one of us has left, mainly. I’m sure everyone else misses some people, too.
Do you have any other blogs I could follow? I miss seeing you on my dash.
Message me off anon and I can send you one.
What is new, Eggbert?
I'm still getting notifications on my phone when people send me asks.I really need to get rid of those somehow.
"I do make mistakes, and some of them are atrocious in hindsight" If you have made mistakes in the past, perhaps you can make amends. Never too late
I said that to apologize in advance for anything that might reasonably upset people. No one’s perfect, least of all me.
…Or is this about something specific? If so, you really shouldn’t beat around the bush. (Coming off anon would also be appreciated.)
Why do you no longer blog?
You're in luck - I just popped in to see how everything's been in my absence, and I saw this message, so I'll clarify it for you and everyone else:A while ago, this comic artist called plebcomics got doxxed and subsequently fired for getting on the nerves of a certain group of extremists I'm not sure what to call anymore, now that "SJWs" got hijacked by /pol/ to include people like MLK. On top of that, I was fairly involved in GamerGate-related blogging, thinking it was framed for harassment and bigotry, but then I went to 8chan and Twitter and found out... well, it wasn't framed, though a lot of the people vocally against it weren't much better. All in all, a bunch of stuff happened at once to tell me that pretty much everyone on the SJ scene here in any capacity either was garbage or had left long ago, so I ragequit. I have no plans to resume posting, mostly because I doubt things have improved.
You may have noticed that I haven't been around nearly as much lately.
That’s largely because real life is keeping me busy, but I’ve noticed something: I’m a lot less angry when I’m not on here. And I’m not the type to like being angry (surprising as that may be), so I think I’ll be taking off shortly.
Those of you who’ve been here over the past few days can probably identify the straws that broke the camel’s back: GamerGate and the plebcomics incident (mostly the latter). At first, I supported the former because they’re the most prolific group currently opposing Anita Sarkeesian and Gawker (the former a liar/misogynist/con-artist who has been making both anti-sexism and video games look bad and worse, respectively; the latter a tabloid network that regularly promotes - and even performs - harassment in the name of “social justice”). I never really cared about the ethics thing per se because there are much bigger fish to fry, but the enemy of my enemy is my ally. Earlier today, however… Let’s just say I found out why Zach Weinersmith proposed that that phrase should end with “ally” and not “friend.” (Protip: it had a lot to do with /pol/ and nothing to do with harassment.) So now I realize that the whole thing is even more of a clusterfuck than I indicated last time I brought it up - I’m sure there are others supporting GG for the same reasons I did, or even because of the ethics thing, but I can assure you it’s gone the way of third-wave feminism. Try to reclaim it if you want, and DEFINITELY keep using #NYS, but I’ve lost my patience with GG, so I’m distancing myself from anything connected to it for the time being.
As for Pleb? The very fact that people on this site could do such a horrible thing to a random artist on the Internet, and then have the GALL to blame it on her despite her having been hacked, sickens me to no end. You people go on about how awful victim-blaming is, and yet clearly none of you has a mirror anywhere near you.
And Tumblr won’t take down the dox.
Therein lies the crux of it: you WORTHLESS SACKS OF SHIT are allowed to continue operating on this godforsaken website, and the staff won’t stop you. Not even when what you’re doing is illegal (defamation, to be specific). This environment is toxic, the staff is keeping it that way, and I want no part of it.
I’ll probably leave this place up, but don’t expect any more posts. Send me an ask off anon if you want some other way to keep in touch - I’ll likely get a Twitter or something shortly. (I do have a lighter side blog that I might keep running on and off, though; again, ask off anon if you want that.)

1. The CIA’s “enhanced interrogation” techniques were not effective. 2. The CIA provided extensive inaccurate information about the operation of the program and its effectiveness to policymakers and the public. 3. The CIA’s management of the program was inadequate and deeply flawed. 4. The CIA program was far more brutal than the CIA represented to policymakers and the American public.

Nelson Mandela was once a "terrorist". Martin Luther King was once a "criminal". Malcolm X was once a "Radical". Now, protesters are "looters" or "thugs". Seems to me like they can say all they want to today: the truth will still come out tomorrow.
Mike Brown won’t experience his college years.
Tamir Rice won’t experience adolescence.
Eric Garner can’t watch his kids grow up.
Mike Brown, Tamir Rice, & Eric Garner will not be home for Christmas.
Okay, one more bout of Ferguson stuff before I go. Justice for these people is more important.

"Perhaps instead of trying to ruin people’s lives over some doodles, you could:
1. Unfollow
2. Blacklist
3. Get the fuck over yourselves none of this will even matter in like a month wow you people are awful.”
tumblr user plebcomics was just recently doxxed, then hacked, then deleted, in a miraculous display of misguided “social justice”.
Why, you ask? Plebcomics is an incredibly infamous comic maker known for making commentary and observations on the more radical exchanges between social justice warriors on this website. Most of her comics were drawn, quite literally, from things people said publicly. Nonetheless, people accused her of making strawman arguments, saying she was representing large groups of people by their absolute worst, most absurd members.
Was she? Maybe. Was this some kind of irredeemable crime worthy of her potentially losing her job and having her blog hacked? No. Was anything achieved in the process? No. Nothing was achieved.
Is it ridiculous and stupid to put people’s lives in danger over something they said on the internet, when you could have just as easily clicked away from it and taken a deep breath? Hell yes.
Don’t doxx people. Don’t hack people. You look like a dumbass and you prove nothing, except that you are a dumbass.
plebcomics wasn’t fucking hacked, that’s a common misconception as to what happened so people can yell about ‘hypocritical sjws’
a group of people found her Facebook and simply posted all the information she had publicly available there, nothing was retrieved illigally. there’s nothing illegal with attaching a name to some shitty comics someone drew out of spite
her employer saw the comics she made, and out of THEIR choice they fired her.
y’all forgetting this is the same damn person who brushed off Anita Sarkeesian and Zoe Quinn’s harassment in some of the most vile ways
she isn’t worth your sympathy
Her blog was hacked and deleted you massive fucking idiot oh my god
Before you go off on a tangent about something, perhaps do some research.
When you post up a bunch of private information, easy to find or not, with the soul intention of harming or causing damage to someone, that’s doxxing. That’s illegal.
Pleb was fired because a bunch of people called and emailed her employers and sent them pornographic images. It wasn’t because of comics she drew in her spare time.
Jesus Christ.

You've been controlling the bad guy the entire time, you've destroyed most of the universe, and your guide didn't figure that out until you killed a baby.

this is exactly what social anxiety is like, and it’s not fun at all.

These people are beyond fucking help.
Unfortunately, since the plebcomics tumblr was hacked and erased, Abby had to reupload her comics sans sources. Her comics are almost entirely based on individual interactions she sees, and she provides links to people saying nearly verbatim what is in her comics. So the assholes who took her shit down did achieve something. Now they get yell “strawman” and there’s no actually defending it with provable facts.
this is actually where i could use yalls help over the course of the next couple weeks, if you can find, screencap, and send my way all the sources to the comics i made, id be sincerely much obliged
So this happened.
