today I am thinking about the fact that everything shane knows about what hes into is inextricably linked to ilya. all his kinks are either things ilya introduced him to or things he fantasized ilya doing to him/doing with ilya. yeah there's fantasies about other people (random unnamed older guy on his juniors team who took him under his wing, random unnamed guy on his juniors team who was a little mean in a way that made shane's heart pound, some hockey players when he was younger etc) but ultimately, it all came back to ilya.

sure, if he squints hard enough he can remember the way he liked when things hurt a bit, those times praise lit him up inside. but nothing concrete, not without ilya.

one day, after getting fucked until all the thoughts are gone from his head and coming out of his tongue, spilling out in front of ilya, "you know, sometimes i wonder if you did this to me."
