Being 20+ is basically a constant question of “am I doing enough” and the answer always being a solid ‘no’

Let’s talk about mental health
Since i was 7 years old I felt as if i didnt fit in. I was often sad “without a reason”, I was bullied by my classmates and I didn’t know what to do.
When i started high school I thought i got better, but my anxiety was stopping me in almost everything i cared about, cause i was too shy and didn’t believe in myself one bit.
I’m almost 20 years old right now and i just experienced a really depressing week. I havent left my room for two days (which means: no water, no food, no toilet and no fresh air). I didn’t even feel the hunger, I wasn’t even thirsty, but I really needed to go to the toilet. I needed it so much that my bladder started hurting so bad, but I didn’t care. I was just lying in my bed crying, again “for no reason”. I’ve spent a week just in my room (eventually i decided to go to the toilet and grab some food and water). My family was mad at me. They didn’t understand why i got so depressed at once. But they don’t understand that I don’t get it either. It just comes and goes and I’m working on it so that it doesn’t come really often.
What hurts me the most is that there are a lot of people dealing with much worse things than I am. That there are people with more serious mental health problems than i have and there is nothing I can do about it. I hope you’re all doing fine. Be strong fighting your fights! And if it matters at all- I care about you and your mental health!
Wow i wrote this long time ago and ever since then I've had a lot of those days. I'm a psychology student now and I hope to make at least a little difference in this world by helping people dealing with mental problems. I still care and always will!!!! #mentalhealthmatters
