A Poem: By Me
She is the roaring ocean before sunset
her hair, rippling waves of cerulean
her eyes, polished stones on the shore
her skin, a creamy bronze reflection of the shadowed evening sand
her voice, a siren song to entice the moon to pull the waves
She is the valley of gold in the moments before sunrise
her smile, the faint twinkling beauty of the fading stars
her laugh, an echo of light refracting off the glorious earth
her confidence, the grandiloquent sun on the verge of waking the world
She is the lustrous argent crescent of the moon chasing the sun from the approaching night
She is the whispering water in the clouds about to fall the the earth and feed the flowers
She is the opalescence in the sky after a torrential rain
She is the beauty of the earth and the sky
She is each word in every line in a poem to a perfect girl
She was alive when I wrote this. She was breathing. She was bright. Yeah.
