all of the people changing their profile pictures to the colour blue 'for women in afghanistan!' on tiktok are kind of pissing me off. 9/10 videos that i have seen about this are just "change your pfp to blue its not that hard to be a good person!" whilst also not sharing any information on what women in afghanistan are going through, nor are they amplifying the voices of campaigns or petitions, they're just changing their profile pictures. i get that the idea behind it is to show your support, but without doing anything else to actually help out it just ends up feeling like those influencers posting black squares in 2020 to 'show their support for BLM' whilst ALSO doing nothing. idk its genuinely so virtue signally and performative.

Had a dream the batman pt 2 was released and bruce was wearing a pink suit and absolutely loved getting followed by journalists to the point where he was literally dragging them along and showing the manor, also the villain was this random character and when people started criticising how random it was, annoying fans online were like ‘erm acktually this character appeared in 1955 in this random storyline so it does actually exist’ and ‘atleast it wasn’t popular, if it was the joker y’all would have complained anyways’, genuinely jumped awake like it was a nightmare (it was), also sebastian stan wasn’t even two face, he was one of the journalists.
