A Mother’s Scent

do you ever just smell your mom’s clothes and just find comfort in it?

Blood on my hand… blood on my hand… my parents’ blood on my hand… it’s my fault… my fault they died. 

So the movie definitely showed Elsa’s self-blaming and a panic episode during the scene on her parents’ ship. Deep down we all know she doesn’t really open up much - but she is trying - and I can’t help but realize… geez, on the outside even if she’s just seen crying and trying to take a breath, we all know from the inside, she’s thinking all these intrusive thoughts. 

Even knowing that Anna told her it’s not her fault, as someone with depression and anxiety, these thoughts can’t easily be swayed easily. And I think that makes her seem even more real.
