People always talk up how good Trails in the Sky the 3rd is and it really is, but an aspect I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else mention is how the chest messages are doing the usual jokes until you hit chapter 7, where they all become the same (accurate to the source material) “This chest is empty” message. That is, until you hit the big finale with the entire cast exploring the last dungeon at once, and now the messages are back and they’re super positive and affirming:
