In two weeks, I suddenly had two Valentinos
Oh, what do collabs do to me...
I'm ready to eat this second one.
Ahem... by the way, the first Valentino's outfit was inspired by this diva:
A bit of my OC Bernadette in hellish and human form
I love my girl^^
Her full biography is in the post below
In the Hazbin Hotel universe I have an OC named Bernadette Hunter.
(These are old works, please don't take it personally)
In this fandom, she's positioned as Alastor's ex-wife, whom he married in the 1920s as a cover story because:
- He was on a murderous streak at the time;
- Reactions to single life were more acute back then.
So, marriage was a kind of social shield and could help Al kill two birds with one stone: the appearance of normalcy and a reduced risk of suspicion, since a successful radio host and a loving family man—what could possibly raise suspicion here? I'll start from scratch, and there will be many more letters to come...
He met Bernadette at his friend Mimzy's club, "Ragtime". Young Bernadette was a fan of Louisiana's First Smile radio show and, overcoming her fear of her idol, approached him with a napkin for him to sign. Al, meanwhile, having come to the club to settle his "love" affairs by trial and error, decided to settle on the girl who had approached him first. He engaged her in conversation, dangled noodles in her ears about how wonderful and special she was, and that very evening proposed marriage. Bernadette, realizing she'd never had a chance to do so again, accepted him enthusiastically. However, life with her idol wasn't the fairytale she'd expected from his words. He was polite, gallant, and never insulted anyone, but at the same time, he was terribly cold in the sense that he never bothered to offer a sincerely kind word, unless it was in public. He didn't emanate the warmth and love that might emanate from someone dear to you, so there were no kisses, no hugs—oh, and is there even any point in talking about an intimate life? I think many who know about hotels know that Alastor is asexual. In my story, they only had one such night in their life, and that was eighteen months after their wedding, but it was a lucky one for Alastor, who wanted to strengthen his "shield" with the addition of a child. So, despite his own qualms, the experience was fulfilled. In 1922, their daughter, Martha, was born.
Their tormented marriage lasted until 1928, and during that time, Bernadette increasingly began to feel like a void in her home. She believed Alastor tolerated her out of pity, that she had never been and never would be desirable. Then the infidelities began. Many infidelities. She sought warmth in the arms of other men, trying to find what she couldn't find in her own husband. Men came and went, and Bernadette didn't know why each new one disappeared from her life without a trace. Alastor knew about her infidelities, but he didn't show it, because Bernadette kept everything as quiet as he needed to maintain her name and status, and as long as her infidelities weren't a problem, he continued to pretend he knew nothing (though it doesn't take long to figure out why his wife's suitors disappeared without a trace). One autumn evening in 1928, Bernadette returned home with six-year-old Martha from her grandmother's, hoping Alastor would be home, but he was gone. In the living room, Bernadette discovered an open farewell letter from her last lover and realized with horror that Alastor had found out. He was neither in the study nor the shed. It was raining outside, so hunting was out of the question, but in the shed, Bernadette found a bloody knife and a trail of mud leading from the shed toward the wooded area beyond their yard. Further on, she found Al dismembering a corpse with an axe, and then Martha came running after her. Coming out of her daze, Bernadette ran with her daughter through the dark streets of New Orleans, while Alastor tried to catch up. At a crossroads, he grabbed Martha by the arm and tried to pull her away, asking her to stop and let him explain everything. Bernadette tugged furiously at her daughter's other arm, hoping to wrest the girl from her father's grasp. They were so caught up in the tug-of-war that they neither heard nor saw a police Ford coming around the corner and barreling straight toward them (don't worry, I'd already familiarized myself with the local cars of the time). And that's it, everyone froze, like dumb deer. They didn't have time to react. Al closed his eyes, expecting the blow, which landed, but missed. Opening his eyes, he found only Martha's severed hand in his own. The impact sent both of them flying into the window of a nearby antique shop. Bernadette, riddled with shrapnel, died almost instantly—by the time Alastor ran in, she was already dead. Marta was still breathing, but weakly; the injuries inflicted by the blow and shrapnel were irreparable. The girl died in her father's arms, genuinely confused as to why her father was crying.
That's the way it is. The moral of the story is that Alastor is a loserXD
I'm participating in a collab based on Alastor. I dressed him in Vincent's clothes from the bar flashback.
Honestly, it looks a bit like a vinyl record sleeve lol
So, today, only RadioStatic has a huge number of divisions through mixing and combinations: human+human, demon+human, demon+demon, demonic form+demonic form, etc.
Now just imagine how many such combinations there would be if either Alastor or Vox, or both of them, were to be redeemed and go to heaven (I know it sounds absurd, but it's just theoretically possible). Then there would be angel + demon, angel + human, and so on.
Imagine a trope with this outcome: an AU where one of them is human and the other is a supposed "guardian angel"
Oh, that's the icing on the cake. A name for a ship where both Alastor and Vox are angels?
MEDIAHEAVEN
There's nothing clever about it, it's simply the fruit of my late-night hysteria over the desire to draw in the style of the Hazbin Hotel series itself.
Alastor already understands everything in this life🫡
Okay, this isn't going to be #charlastor, because today it's not a pairing, but if I see something like "oh, how cute, daughter calling dad for help," it's going to bring out the very, very angry William Afton in me👾
I seem to remember stumbling across a TikTok video about early concepts for Alastor and Mimzy, where it was said they were once conceived as a couple. There was also talk about Mimzy once getting Alastor drunk and either sleeping with him or trying to sleep with him, I don't remember anymore. It was a funny situation (albeit creepy 🥸. Poor Al). This thing was probably based on this information. And... actually, I drew this in November 2025, and the sketch for this work was actually drawn in November 2024 and abandoned. And then there was Alastor with a mustache, which I stopped drawing after the series aired, when I remembered the sketch. Headcanon is that he had that mustache for a while, but for a number of reasons he got rid of it (some daredevils definitely made jokes about him being a virgin, and no one ever saw those guys again. But the mustache also disappeared somewhere later 🤣).
I like to draw in magma
Yesterday and today I had the chance to participate in the voxal Magma contest with artists I'd never met before, and who would have thought I'd be creating my first finished drawing there, not leaving with a sloppy sketch? To be fair, yes, it's not the best Alastor I've ever created, but I'm still a beginner at Magma, and it's not very comfortable for me to work there (I usually work in Procreat) , plus Magma lags a lot, but I enjoyed drawing and watching the masterpieces the participants create. Well, I wouldn't call this scribble RadioStatic, but it's definitely RadioBullying—poor Vox XD. For those who don't know, back when the second season was coming out, I drew this little joke where, after Vox's rampage, other Vees gave him this body so he wouldn't run away. It was a continuation of the iPad kid tease, you could say. 🤣 Overall, Magma was an interesting experience. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to develop my skills there in the future:)
After the fifth episode of Hazbin Hotel season two, I selfishly hoped that Lucifer and Vox's song would replicate the effect of Alastor and Lucifer's duet, and that the #StaticApple pairing would go viral. Unfortunately, that system didn't work. StaticApple made its presence felt, but it didn't explode like the #RadioApple. Sorry, little deer, we still haven't gotten the king off you ahahaha🤣
RadioApple fans, don't take my words to heartXD
Somebody on one of my Charlastor discords summoned the art pumpkin✨🎃So a drew a thing 🧡🧡🧡 Eldritch 🦌 and 🌈
Annnnnd speed draw
so freaking cute!
So, I'm here with a sudden, uh, thing. This one! Dear citizens, it just so happens that over the past few days I've completely accidentally become hooked on the StaticBelle (Vox/Charlie) pairing. I didn't understand it before, couldn't wrap my head around it, didn't understand what other people understood about it, and now it's just exploded :0 I've developed some kind of obsession with Vox (because of this pairing), and I don't know what will happen next. Currently, this depicts a fragment from the plot of a story in the great and terrible deepseek. As you can tell from the latest humanization of Charlie, this is an AU set in the city of Richmond in the 1950s. Detective. The story revolves around Charlie's desire to help his detective father (Lucifer) with a case involving the mysterious deaths of TV personalities who were somehow connected to the famous TV host Vincent Whittman. In the art, Charlie, posing as a journalism student, came to interview the TV star. They were talking about Vince's heterochromia. You know, I'm a little sad that I haven't found a single StaticBelle fanfic in my native language yet, but maybe I'll find one in English idk
Animation or art of Alastor and Charlie under the hashtag #charlastor, hugging, laughing or dancing.
Meanwhile, comments: "Oh, how sweet the father is spending time with his daughter," "Oh, how sweet the father is entertaining his daughter," "Oh, it's 100% Lucifer filming them in the background! He loves his husband so much!"
Guys... hi, hashtag?
HASHTAG HELLOOO???
Okay, let's say there's no #charlastor there, but just #Alastor, #Charlie, and just separate hashtags without the pairing, but why do many people still seriously consider Alastor to be Charlie's father if there were no prerequisites, even the hashtag #radioapple? I thought we were past the point where it was made clear several times that Al was joking around in season one. Okay, okay! Okay, if someone still decided to headcanon Alastor as a father figure for Charlie, but forcing that everywhere, especially in a pairing with these two, is just not cool. That's it, I've said my piece. Thanks for your attention!
Okay, this was drawn in November, and it was my first piece without line art. There were no sketches, no clear idea of what I wanted to draw. I sculpted it digitally with paint until the blobs formed into silhouettes, and the silhouettes into personalities. I wouldn't call it my best work, since I'm not really fond of Vincent's overall palette and design, but it was interesting lol
An opinion that no one needs: The song "I Can't Decide" is the duo's anthem.
Based on a scene from a deepseek RPG of one of my favorites, where Alastor and Vox are accidentally returned to the world of the living and try to survive as a team without going nuts (mission impossible). And it's also a bromance, yes. When it comes to two sworn enemies, frankly, I prefer the enemies-to-bros trope over the enemies-to-lovers one, and I'd really like to see how these two idiots interact with each other, trying not to die or kill each other, and how it all develops into a certain bond that eventually leads to them becoming brothers-in-arms by the end of their adventures. I think they could use that kind of relationshipXD
Not long ago, I started drawing a Hazbin Hotel AU based on the Beauty and the Beast fairy tale, where Charlie is Belle and Alastor is the Beast. Angel is Lumiere here). And yes, that's Charlie with Alastor, it's just that she's a human here, and Alastor is an enchanted radio host.
Holy as the devil, honest as a hypocrite Generous as a thief, kind as Lucifer
Gentle as a killer, pure as a prostitute and if I'm faithful, then like Judas
I'm a fiend of Hell, my mother told me. I wear all my sins as a reward
I'd sell my soul, but alas the devil wants no deals with me
