GIF help

Hi! I have a question for all you fandom gif makers here on Tumblr! I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to where I can get info on how to make gifs with a MacBook. (I used to make them all the time with my PC, but it was using a different program unavailable on the Mac, so I'm starting over). Please leave me a DM if you can answer this.
