When my brother moved out on his own he didn't have a hat that was specifically his, so he took one of my extra hats. When he was home for christmas he was talking about how the hat was too small for him. So when I found this really cool black/brown yarn on my latest yarn shopping spree I thought of him (also my mom offer to buy the yarn I need for my latest blanket if I made him a hat) So one Saturday of knitting and my brother has a new extra large hat that will actually fit him.

Made this hat for my sister. I uses this chunky baby alpaca yarn and it is the softest yarn that I have ever felt. I put up the pattern that I made up for free on Ravelry. Hope you guys enjoy it.

The journey has come to an end. Over he course of the eight last months this has felt like a project that I would never complete.

And now I can say: it is done!

Done before Christmas, so it can be gifted, and done in time for the knit 1 geek 2 hobbit along, right as the final hobbit movie is released, it is done.

Over the course of the last eight months I have put around 80 hours of work into this scarf, all without the intended recipient ever seeing his scarf, which is a feat as we spend a lot of time together.

I cannot wait to gift this, and to start a new sweater for myself.

My Lord of the Ring hat pattern is finally finished and upload after 9 months!!! The pattern is up on both Ravelry (free) and Etsy($5.00). Like I have said before, I always put up my pattern for free so anyone can use it, but I also sell it on Etsy if you guys would like to support me. 

I hope you guys enjoy it and I would absolutely LOVE any feedback that you guys give. I am still new to making patterns so feedback is much appreciated.
