Today I am two years #selfharmfree. I got this tattoo to commemorate my first year and plan to celebrate my second by touching it up and expanding it (when I can to afford to do so). It feels weird to say that I'm two years clean as I'm currently struggling with a relapse of sorts and have been this entire semester. I'm taking each day as it comes and this tattoo serves as a reminder of how far I've made it. If I can kick this addiction, even through this relapse, I can make it through anything my mental illness throws at me. It may be rough and I may fall back at some points, but I have an amazing support network who loves me regardless of what direction I'm moving in and that is more than I could ever ask for. Thank you to everyone who's been there for me. 💙

Sad update everyone, Tama recently passed away… An estimated 3,000 people, including railway officials, attended Tama the cat’s funeral on Sunday, days after she died of heart failure aged 16. [x]

For those who haven’t read articles about it, the local shrine elevated her to a god. She’s now the Eternal Stationmaster and patron god of the station.

ahhh gentle pure tama!! <333 for those down about tama’s passing, a good ending–the station has found a successor to her! another calico named nitama (literally TAMA TWO) who was irl buddies with tama off duty AND was a kitty receptionist while tama was around (yes there are RECEPTIONIST CATS at this train station bless it there is a full cat bureaucracy and job market). nitama is pretty chill about the hat and while not as serene as tama was, will undoubtedly come into it with age and experience.
