Dear Sir-Ma'am GMonymous; So, when I LFR or BG or whatever, I just don't put up with people and shitty language. Not basic swearing, but slurs or being dicks to others. So I hit Report > Language fairly often in those sort of things. A) Is this effective any? Like if someone uses "faggot" and I ping them, or whatever? And B) Am I just creating massive ammounts of unnecessary work for GMs?

Here's a good analogy for how the system works.

Gypsy Danger is the system.  Your FLR baddie is the kaiju.  You are the punchy fist.  Now, your report only counts as one punch.  But everyone else's reports count as extra punches.  After so many punches within a set timeframe, that kaiju loses the ability to speak for a couple hours.  After some more, the kaiju is knocked out for a couple hours altogether.  Or days.  Or for good.  It depends on how many times the punchy fist needs to punch them.

As for worrying about it making massive amounts of unnecessary work for us:
