My piece made for @neardawnzine a Twilight Princess zine. I tried capturing the ethereal first encounter into the Sacred Grove, easily one of my favourite parts of the game.

while looking at actual references from the game, my process also took me into looking at the serene forest paintings by Emily Carr.

I'm not completely satisfied with the final light dappling rendering but next time i'll try tackling it differently.

I might be crazy BUT along with the fact that they cover Assad's grays for the Armand flashbacks, but leave them front and center for our 2025 Armand shots (postpartum grays, to me)

I have been THINKING. That they've darkened SOME of Eric's hair for Vamp Daniel. It's a very cool toned charcoal color right at the top of his brow, a smidge at the temples, and right at the nape of the neck. And that coloration has always been there but I sweAR I SEE DARK STRANDS. They may have darkened his brows and lashes maybe??

I feel like I'm going crazy. Are they. Co-mingling the curls. Am I insane or are they insane.
