Y'all built up a narrative in your head because Armand is played by a beatiful man of color that he has to be good. You built the same narrative for Louis.

Lmao what? First off, no, I didn't read the books, and thank God for that because I think if I did I'd be way more annoyed about this season and the stuff they changed or left out of it.

"Armand is addicted to lying" is all fine and dandy but I'm literally just judging his actions based on the information available to me at the moment. You know, like a person watching a tv show would.

Where did I ever say Armand was "good"? He's my favourite character and I like that he's troubled and complex but I also don't deny that he's no better than the rest of the cast. If anything I'd suggest that you look inward and examine why that is that someone finding Armand sympathetic makes you so uncomfortable and mad

tbf rolin and eric keep talking about how armand's always scheming and lying and manipulating, and now assad has started to say the same in recent interviews. that he's never genuine and even when he confesses to daniel it's part of a larger plan because he always has a scheme going. it's been kind of sad to see assad change his tune so much on armand and makes me kind of apprehensive about where his story is going this season. like he literally said armand is addicted to lying which is not how he was talking about him before at all :(

I mean I don't watch the interviews and the podcast at least for now because I don't want to be spoiled about where certain plotlines are going, and I think it takes away from authenticly experiencing the story without a certain expectation in mind. I have my own hopes for the finale and I'm cautiously optimistic but I'm only talking about the impression that I personally get from the season so far
