I remember liking Five Hargreeves so much because of how unique his character was. The nuances in the way he thinks, acts and actually feels inside. The tsundere vibes of “I love you and I will protect you but you will never hear it from me”. 60 years old man stuck in a kid’s body, all that rage pent up in a tiny body and a kid’s face. Five was an all in all very interesting character that lives in the gray area.

Then season 4 went and butchered that. He’s now a brooding character who decided to run away and get stuck in the timeline because he’s emo that his love life failed. Acting exactly like how a person in early 20s would instead of acting like the 60 years old man he is.

His dynamics used to vary depending on which siblings he hangs out with. Remember Season 1 Five with Diego? Season 3 Five with Klaus? Season 3 Five with Viktor? Etc etc… then boom in season 4 it is as if those dynamics did not exist. Lmao.

RIP to a well written, gray, nuance, and beautifully complicated character. Now destroyed, ripped into pieces, and burnt to the ground (literally).

one thing i’d love to point out about five is that he envisions delores as being taller than him and that’s just so cool of him

when he hallucinates her in season 3 she’s got a couple inches on him and i just think that’s so funny

because physically 13 year-old five is the same height as his physically 58 year-old self (if not a little taller) which means delores was always and will always be taller than him in his mind. we love a short king who loves being a short king

Diego’s talk to Luther kinda reminds me of older brother vibes.

Hear me out this has been in my head.

What I mean is that Diego had serious talks with Klaus, Luther, Five, and Allison later in season 3 and it gives me the kind of talks older brothers give you.

Luther helped five one time as backup, helped Allison with speaking to Claire, supported Viktor’s transition, and helped Klaus when protecting him from bullets and that one explosive from ep 1.

Luther isn’t the best leader, neither will Diego be, but they’re such big brothers that look out for their family. Luther being the physical support while Diego seems like someone that you can talk to about serious things.

real talk on Abigail and Reggie looking human my thought is that they were getting ready to go with the intention to take her along. she saw the writing on the wall and had already resolved to die in their house but didn’t tell Reggie til the last second because she knew he’d die beside her if he’d been given any time to consider it. her last great labor of love ended up getting everyone killed, just like the work she devoted herself to

I do wonder if the Commission agents are jacked up with some super serum or something. Cha Cha should’ve died like ten times with the amount of damage she’s taken. Same with Hazel, really. Even the Handler has survived an explosion and a gun shot to the head (I know there’s a metal plate but still. Plus that adds to her serious injury list that she had to have a metal plate in the first place).
