I shot and edited this video for Stanford University. The player piano is reproducing an actual performance from George Gershwin.

Stanford’s Department of Music and Archive of Recorded Sound have acquired a formerly private collection comprising ten reproducing pianos and more than 7,500 rolls of historically significant performances, delivered by some of the greatest composers and pianists of the 20th century. Here, keys apparently move at the command of George Gershwin himself. (He played this rendition of "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles" in the Bronx in 1920.)
