I hate being sick...

Over the last few days I've been sick... I've gotten a lot better, but because one of the best ways I know of becoming healthy is to just sleep through the sickness, it's now 6:30 in the morning, I still haven't slept since this afternoon, I'm not tired and keeping me from just falling asleep is a simple sore throat that I could disregard if I was actually tired, but because I'm sitting here, having slept way too much over the last couple of days, I'm just lying here, incapable of sleeping at all just because my throat is slightly sore...

Gosh darnit it's tough for me legs. Not really used to using my legs for much other than walking, so it feels super weird. It's the first time I'm ever behind the wheel too, but it's going alright. Only 7 minor mistakes so far :3

Okay, so I only now realised that the flight flew From Copenhagen and... Honestly, knowing this country, they did this not only deliberately, but they probably advertised it as such aswell, like. Actually telling people they can fly to HEL on flight 666, not actually telling people where HEL was, unless people asked. Some people would've boarded without knowing where HEL is, just cause it's a funny story to tell.

Why did I choose my url: Because... It’s an old account name of mine that I started using once I needed more than 1 account for stuff. The name’s a combination of my most used nickname and a pastry.

Hogwarts house: HUFFLEPUFF!

Pokemon team: Is it cute? Then it’s on my team. I don’t care that there are currently 802 cute pokemon, THEY’RE ALL ON MY TEAM!

Favourite colour: Orange

Average hours of sleep: I’ll say my average lies around like 8 hours... Because some nights I get around 6 hours of sleep, but then... There are the nights where I sleep upwards of 16 hours.

Lucky number: 4. Not that there’s a lot of thought to it. I won a lot with that number when I was younger, so I just kept using it.

Favourite characters: In popular media? I guess it’d be Kilgrave from Jessica Jones. The series, not the comic book. Haven’t read the comics.

Dream job: A stable job where I will get to do different things each day.

Number of blankets I sleep with: I think it’s a very normal thing for danes to just sleep with one Duvet. I can’t think of a single person I know who doesn’t.

So I finally decided to follow through and actually take part in one of the Writing academy videos made by @maxkirin. It was nice getting some shortform writing done. Despite it not fitting into any of my stories, I think it’s a nice story in and of itself that could easily become something greater. I easily see myself doing more of these.

I used one of their new videos, namely the course on Character and this is the story I got out of just ten minutes of writing. Hope you like it.

I can't believe it... I didn't do it. Everything was right, but I didn't do it. I came upon this earth to get the Masters through, but I couldn't do it. This world just... Can't be destroyed. I won't let it. Its people, its culture, the nature of the world, it's all so beautiful, all so pristine. The Masters would destroy all of it and I can't let that happen. If this is all lost, then everyone I met here will be too, everything I care for will be gone forever.

The portal was ready, the Others standing around in support of me, but... I couldn't finish the ritual. There was no way I could let all my memories fade away and become nothing once again. I was a soldier with a mission, but I've grown beyond it and become so much more. I'm a person now. I don't think Jenna will ever forgive me for these last few hours, but I saved everyone through the events, the Others lie dead by the Portal and the Masters won't have another chance to come through to our world any time soon. I fixed it, I saved everyone.

But why do I feel like I've still given up everything? I don't care about the Masters or the Others, but I feel at loss with the ones from this world too. I saved them, but in the meantime, I've destroyed their city, ravaged the lives I helped them build, killed those dear to them. And to me. I hope they'll forgive me. They're going to survive because of this, so the lives that was lost along the way, were those not just sacrifices for the greater good? Yeah, I'm sure they'll see it that way, I mean, they'll understand it, won't they? Once I explain it to them atleast. Yeah, I'm sure they will. I'll go and tell them, tell them I saved the world from the Masters.
