Returning to the mountains, being up with the clouds once more. Felt as if I was coming home to a dear old friend. (at Myrtle Point)
Pure happiness. Captured by @surf.widow (at Appalachian National Scenic Trail)
Today is the #climatemarch get out and enjoy the great outdoors, not just today but everyday. I stand for the protection and preservation of OUR great wilderness areas. đ˛đ (at Appalachian National Scenic Trail)
One of my favorite things about being in the outdoors is how it shows you how small we really are. We often think of ourselves, as humans that we are superior to everything on this planet, when in reality we are just a small link in the chain that makes up this beautiful planet. (at Turkey Run State Park)
Damn, Earth goes hard... everyday. #earthday (at Planet Earth)
The night sky in Maine is unbeatable. This photo was taken just steps out side of our hotel room in Rangeley. Even in a town you can still see the billions of stars above. (at Rangeley, Maine)
There is energy in Mountains. Some you can feel more than others. Throughout my journey along the Appalachian range, the White Mountains of New Hampshire had an energy incomparable to any other range I have traveled to. An energy that could wreck you and show you a unbelievable beauty in just moments. (at Mount Lafayette)
Build it yourself, skate it your self. @buddybest wall riding in Indianapolis. (at Indianapolis, Indiana)
The tooth of the Dragon in Virginia. (at Appalachian National Scenic Trail)
I remember vividly listening to The Proclaimers - 500 miles as I walked across the 500 mile marker on the A.T. Which was totally unplanned and kinda ironic. Only to have to walk ~3 more 500 mile sections to get to Katahdin... (at Grayson Highlands State Park)
If you stay still, you canât lose your way. â¨If you stay still, you canât find your way either. â¨Move. Trip. Stand up. Go on. Get out there and see what you're missing. (at Planet Earth)
What's up! Just opened my online store for selling my prints of some photos I've taken this past year! Check it out link is in my bio! Enter promo code "hikertrash" for 10% off your first order! (at Carmel, Indiana)
This is the original Washington Monument, built in 1827. The more famous Monument in D.C. was built 60 years later. You cross paths with this structure in Maryland on the A.T. When we reached this point we sat on top, watching a massive thunderstorm roll in over the valley below. (at Washington Monument State Park)
We ate like obese children, howled at the moon like wolves and chased each sunset like we'd never see it again. We trusted strangers with our lives; getting rides from locals who reek of beer in beat up trucks through twisted mountain roads. Only to never see them again. Some days I miss the trail more than others. Today is one of those days I miss it like hell. One of my personal favorites from the trail, Astro and I getting a ride back to the trail. Shot on an iPhone 6+ (at Roan Mountain, Tennessee)
Around sunset in the White Mountains the sky can change so dramatically, so quickly. If you don't find a mountain top and just watch, you may miss something spectacular. (at Appalachian National Scenic Trail)
Observe the wonders as they surround you. Don't claim them, feel the artistry moving through and be silent. (at New Orleans, Louisiana)
