My health teacher showing us a video on how to spot people with ana eating disorders in people around you
Me, eating less than a toddler should, constantly tired and exercising :
My weighing scale:
me: hey i actually look skinnier! i think my hard work is starting to pay o-
my eating disorder: actually you look like this
I need to be honest
My Ed is bad and I actually don’t want it.
But I can’t get rid of it
I have something wrong with my stomach where I have intense hits of nausea throughout my day, as well as random triggers to food that make my stomach hurt so bad.
I’m hungry and want to eat, but my body won’t let me.
Not my brain
And I’ve kinda given up.
My gastro doctor doesn’t even know what’s wrong and I’ve been seeing him for four years. He thinks it might be Gastroparesis but we still need more test.
For the past 6 months I have been forcing myself to eat through the nausea and pain, but I can’t any more. I gained 20lb and that safest part is that I don’t feel any better.
I’m not suicidal
I just don’t want pain
I will not die from this
I will live
I want to be skinny
But I know my limit
Please tell me I’m not the only one in the community with this problem. I know it’s not your “traditional” ED but it is one.
why when you’re starving you feel like ur body so skinny but once you eat something and it’s like you and ur body are drowning in fat
please enjoy this low effort meme i made with snapchat stickers
Okay, but listen.
You’re going to look so. Fucking. Good. When you get to your UGW. I’m not even kidding. You’re gonna look like a fucking model, I swear. And I know it’s hard to wait, and it’s hard to see the scale change by so little every day, but it’s going to be so damn worth it in the end, you just have to trust yourself, because you’re the only one who can make this happen, and you’re going to do it, I absolutely know it. Just take things one day at a time, trust in the process, trust in yourself, and you WILL get there, and you’re gonna thank yourself for it.
Listen
I hate to make a pro post but this needs to reach more people, so the tags are necessary 🤷🏼♀️
I know cheese is a high cal, addictive, comfort food, and is also a fear food for a lot of us (a safe food for some and that's fine).
There's this stuff called nutritional yeast, it is inactive, dry yeast. You don't bake with it like regular yeast, you cook and season with it; it comes in a shaker and looks like yellow little flakes, and it tastes cheesy!
It's 60 cals per 2 tbsp, and can be added to essentially any savory dish to add a cheesy flavor.
THE IMPORTANT PART IS:
Just 0.5 tbsp (15 cals) gives you over 100% of almost every B vitamin! B vitamins are very important for your metabolism! As well as your hair, skin, and basically your whole body.
You can make low cal & healthy mac and cheese powder, you just need nutritional yeast, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and a few other things to tweak the taste for yourself.
It's vegan, cholesterol free, low cal, yummy cheesiness, high in essential vitamins, and you should be able to find it at most grocery stores or at health food stores.

My face when a meal on the low cal menu is my entire daily intake
Yeah I have disordered eating habits and a skewed self image but I don’t tolerate fat shaming
hardest thing to learn during recovery is….. some of your misery is your own fault. you have to actively choose to stop wallowing in your own pain & start to recover. that means stop being self deprecating, start taking care of yourself, start eating healthy, start taking your hygiene seriously, even if it’s hard. & it is hard! but you must.
