LOVED! The Qing Dynatsy exhibit at MIA! This was my favorite room; it was titled “Mountains of the Mist.” It featured jade work representive of mountains, one long printed scroll of a mountain story, and my favorite was the photography work of Yang Yongling. If you look closely the mountains are actually crumbling buildings. There was music playing in the room which after some time would fade and interrupted by loud thunder followed by the sound of rain. As the rain starts the room lights up, which is when this picture is taken. If you are Minnesota this spring I would highly recommend you go to MIA and see this exhibit!
