{ 🌱 Eurydice 🌱 }

I wasn't sure at first to show this here but this is literally one of my best artwork ever so why not. I imagined this as "the first time Orpheus is seeing Eurydice"

This is my incarnation of Eurydice, my retelling is taking the idea that Orpheus and Eurydice keep falling in love over and over, being reincarnated and never breaking the cycle.

Also my Eurydice is genderless, some incarnation are more fem others more masc, but as a nymph I imagine them being more like a plant than a person. I also took the idea that Eurydice can be used to too many versions of themselves and since there's boys and girls in some of their incarnation it could work too as a way to emphasize the enby thingy

My dear Ganymede. They speak of him as a symbol, a constellation, a prize lifted into the heavens but I see a child standing at the edge of the earth, still smelling of grass and milk and daylight, still belonging to his mother. He is innocence made visible. And worse innocence noticed. No one speaks enough about the moment before the sky opens. No one mourns the seconds when his feet still touched the ground, when his mother could still reach him, when the world was small enough to be safe. They rush past that part, eager for gods and stars, as if divinity excuses the violence of being taken. I think of his mother often. I think of her hands what they were doing when the air tore open above her son. Was she folding cloth? Grinding grain? Calling his name? Did she hear the wings? Did she run? Did she scream until the mountains learned grief? And I think of myself, standing in that place, knowing that no prayer, no scream, no love is strong enough to stop a god who wants.

Hi! I loved your art and your artistic style. I loved your design of the Greek gods. I wanted to know if you plan to do a design for Hypnos or Eros, they are my favorite gods. Eros is always portrayed as the son of Ares and Aphrodite in modern comics, but I've always liked Eros traditionally being the primordial being of love, the son of chaos.

Finally, I loved your account and I'm following you now :)

I did have designed an Eros. But he's a very personal version and sorry to disappoint but mine he's a son of aphrodite too 😭

Ignore the adonis mention it's more like an add-on for my personal use than an actual thing

I decided that Tumblr will be my crash-test for this art of Ganymede. I love it but I feel like it misses something ? I tried to make some representation, of course I used the imagery of lamb because Ganymede was shepherd before Zeus took him, but here the lamb represent his purity and the blood on his clothes are for this purity he lost to the god of gods
