Cronosphere

The cronosphere is a part of the upper atmosphere, comprising portions of the mesosphere, thermosphere, ionosphere and exosphere. The cronosphera holds the knowledge of time. In her there is: the past, the future, the retrofuture, sci-fi, the eternal present, time travel. This sphere reveals a secret. And the mystery of discovery.

Miss Futurama (1940)

Wearing a dress of the year 1960, Miss Futurama, Betty Crain, presents Harvey D. Gibson, chairman of the board of the New York World's Fair, with the General Motors streamlined car of 1960 in these photos from 1940. The top photo is from the book Exit to Tomorrow: World's Fair Architecture, Design, Fashion 1933-2005. The bottom photo is from the New York Public Library.

Apples failed Retrofuturism-Video

 Ein Video von 1987, in dem sie die Zukunft der Apple-Hardware im Jahr 1997 voraussagen. Ich liebe vor allem diese Virtual Reality-Brille mit einer 1″-Boot-Disk, aber der iPsychologe und das R2D2-Style-Hologram sind auch nicht schlecht. Und mit der geschäftlichen Entwicklung von 87 bis 97 haben sie sich damals auch ein kleines bisschen verschätzt, aber dann haben sie sich zum Glück ja Steve Jobs zurückgeholt.
