My eyes nearly went cross from drawin like 10 comic pages back to back to back to back so I took a break and did a silly brainstorm about what a Steven and Amethyst fusion would look like. For shizz and giggles.

I imagine they’d be a jovial fusion that makes bad jokes and immediately laughs at their own bad jokes. Like not even waiting for the punchline.

Did a better drawing of Aquamarine/Blue Diamond. Since it seems kinda ambiguous if she has two separate sets of arms or one set that splits at the elbow, I gave her two separate sets, but with a shawl/poncho that hides them above the elbow. Drew design elements from the two statues I linked pictures of, Rose, and, naturally, Lapis and Labradorite (Lab herself based off the Moon Goddess Statue).

She’s somewhere around Rainbow Quartz’s height.

Bit of context: I’m ship garbage for my own fan theory. Also in Chille Tid, an episode that demonstrated for us that Gems were capable of dreaming, the fact that Steven found Lapis inside of her own mindscape before everything went to Malachite-land seemed odd to me- like the implication was that Lapis was dreaming. And, well, why wouldn’t she? She’s in kind of a crummy situation, but has no intention of stopping, and she does have the power to recreate her own memories.

So I guess the concept at hand is, since Lapis and Lighthouse Gem have spent basically this entire time awake but with no idea if the other one is even alive, maybe they dreamed about each other off and on over time. Not actually being able to know the other one’s there or contact each other, but still.

(I tried to reflect their current locations in canon, but Peridot pretty much confirmed for us that the Gems in bubbles aren’t aware of time passing or, possibly, anything at all, so Lighthouse Gem would be dreamlessly zonked out if we’re being technical)
