I have been slacking on posting when new episodes come out lately, but I'm trying to get my shit together. So here we go!

I'm really hoping for some copium from the next episode please. like I'm not nervous because it was only the first game but also, I'm so fucking nervous.

I am sorry I didn't see this ask until right now! Life has been life-ing extra hard lately. I really was staying positive in the first round, but it was mostly out of spite. This has been my first year moderating the Stars subreddit, and the dooming was so out of control out of game one I decided to be positive put of sheer contrariness. I'm still looking on the bright side - an earlier exit gives our guys more time to rest and heal, something they definitely need after some deep playoff runs.

how am I never prepared for the dread and despair of playoff hockey? I guess the price of being romantic about hockey is that it comes with so many Horrors, but I feel like I need a fainting couch or perhaps a vacation to the seaside to cope.

I would also really like a seaside vacation and a fainting couch right now! The playoffs are feeling less high pressure to me now that Dallas is out, but there is still so much to keep track of. And I also get a little sad when playoffs arrive because it means the season is almost over. It's alway more of an emotional roller coaster than I've been planning for.
