actually I made this change.
to get a further into it why.
when the movie got released...shortly after I checked the page. and someone added that they are married. ( there are indicates for this during the movie.but I think I know why this person thought that.) back then I didn`t change it ...since I thought it was cute.
when I had a conversation about that in a youtube section with someone where I said that technically we don`t have any confirmations that they were married because non of them were wearing a ring f.e. . this person pointed out that john and zee are both not really into such things. so there is still a possibility. and thats true. maybe they`ve actually married. since there are so many other options as well.
a few months ago I checked the page again and saw that it isn`t there anymore. (however, the complete story was added.)
since king shark was tagged as johns ex-boyfriend I wanted to add that he is (during that movie) with zatanna (and yes, even when she`s dead...)
so I added “spouse” ...why? because english isn`t my first language. first I was thinking about tagging them as lovers...but I thought this could be misinterpreted (since some people don`t read comics nor watch a movie and use wiki for informations) and it could seem that they only have sometimes something. i am sure it was stated by a director that they went back together after the first jld film? and in the light of the second one it`s clear they`re in a real relationship. so I googled what I could tag them as ( I also thought about partner or boy/girlfriend but I somehow didn`t use it) I found the term spouse...and on the page it said that also not married couples can call each other spouse. (i only now know that this is a term only for married people) so I used that term...
I could change it again...but it`s literally there for months now and I keep seeing people changing f.e. the “status” over and over again. no one is changing this aspect. and tbh I am happy about that. they`re in love with eachother during that movie... (and before/after). and the fact that she literally got him into heaven literally says a lot and of course him immediately forgiving her and being happy that he can spend eternity with her.
even if they weren`t married before her death.... I am sure they would have gotten married in that universe and eventually ended up with Zatara II (and maybe more kids) (you know what we got to see in zatannas dream life by the end of the new52 comics). I just know it. the writers decided to write them as a couple again (eventhough it was based of their new52 relationship) for a reason.
I am sorry if anyone is mad at me.
(and I am sorry if no one get`s my points ...my brain is pretty messy ...all the time).
I was very excited about the movie and when I found out that zatanna is dead during that movie (weeks before it got released because of the teaser). I was heartbroken. I still love the crew for including my favourite couple...as an actual couple (even if it`s like that). it was their first animated appearance. and I loved how they were portrayed in that movie.
(I can remember that I was kinda dissapointed about justice league action...since I love that show and wanted to have a hint. but nothing happened :/ ) I am also currently hoping for john to appear on dc superhero girls and young justice. especially yj...since that show is about generations and there is a small chance for my biggest dream to come true for zatara II finally getting used again). but I doubt it ...since I never get what I want...
