so basically people who arent allat tend to see themselves as better than they acc. are, it's called the dunning-kruger effect. basically people judge themselves as superior to others, there was this one study where smth around 40% of workers put themselves in the top 5%. plus people who are actually worse on average rate their own ability nearly as high as pros. (and yes i did just remember this from the ted ed video)
