The universe just will not cut Sam a break. You guys have been awesome so far â so awesome that her advisors were so impressed with the efforts Samâs been going to to show how serious she is about getting to Vancouver and getting to school, that they arranged for the school to cover her first monthâs rent! Benchmark number two achieved!
But things took another turn today. Her landlord refuses to take the money from the school, stating that he needs proof that she can cover her own rent, for legal protection reasons (sheâs emphatic about the point that heâs NOT an evil mustache-twirling Snidely Whiplash, heâs just trying to protect himself). Â The school canât just give it to her to give to him either, because they have their own procedures and red tape binding them.
She still needs help, guys. Please get the word out. Sheâs done everything she can, but the universe seems determined to see how many hurdles she can jump before she can get her life back on track.

Do you think April can fight with you guys now that she is kunoichi?
That would have to depend on our sensei's decision, but she's had to defend herself a couple of times already. Unlike me and my brothers, April's only had a few months of training, so I don't think she's ready for a full-scaled fight just yet.
He lost his family, his home, and had to immigrate to America to escape from his enemies. Even though he lost so much, he didn't give up or live in anger. Instead he turned away from that and built a new family and a new life...even if it wasn't what he expected.
